Anyone willing to do the Blackmoor MMRPG using C&C?

Hey,

I asked this over at Dave Arneson's board, so I'll ask here as well. Is anyone interested in doing the Blackmoor MMRPG using the Castles & Crusades ruleset? I'm willing to help with the conversion on the Blackmoor end (since I have the Campaign Setting book) but need help with the C&C end (since I still haven't gotten my copy of the PHB 2nd Printing...too lazy ).

I personally think the Trolls should team up with Zeitgeist to make a Blackmoor C&C book, but I realise this will probably never happen.

I'm playing over there right now, but it is d20, not C&C. So what about the setting would have to be "converted"? Most settings I am aware of don't need converting, just maybe a restriction, or expansion, on classes that can be played.

In general, settings don't require any "conversion." Its the fluff-disguised-as-mechanics that needs the conversion, like "special" classes that "don't exist" anywhere else, or the introduction of new monsters, spells, and other whatnots like extraneous restrictions. Would not be hard to use Blackmoor with C&C, treating the setting like one would any other d20-base. Of course, if one used the original material, there would be very little required at all. No current plans to do anything with Blackmoor on my end, but if something's needed, I could help.

Basic game stuff like races: Westryn & Cumasti Elves, Peshwah etc. As well as classes like the Arcane Warrior, Noble, Wokan etc. Probably needs a good explanation for the Wizard's Cabal as there are no Sorcerer's in Castles & Crusades for the Cabal to hunt down (maybe make the Sorcerer a specialized evil Wizard ala The Lord of the Rings or do a straight D&D 3.5 conversion to C&C?)

There have been several excellent C&C sorcerer conversions that have been posted from time to time. I'll have to see if I have any to post or maybe some of the folks here might know of some links!
