Sun Jul 09, 2006 12:30 pm

1 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

2 Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

3 X-Men: The Last Stand Fox

4 Spider-Man 2

5 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

6 Spider-Man

7 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

8 The Matrix Reloaded

9 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

10 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

11 X2: X-Men United

12 Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Does anyone in hollywood do a modicum of research? Just looking at these titles makes me wonder why hollywood execs wonder why 'strangers with candy' is having a difficult time making money.

People like shiny baubles waved in their faces? Or maybe marketing? I knew it was a prequal movie coming this summer, but I didn't even know Strangers with Candy HAD ALREADY come out! Dang I gotta get my rear to the movies.

POTC is a lot more fun when your hanging out with about 60 rennies in full pirate regalia.. Corsets and busty wenches as far as the eye can oggle.

It's not secret that ameirca loves it's summer blockbusters! No doubt in my Mind that POTC2 was going to blow Superman Returns away...

And I'm with Gideon on this one, going to the movies with a bunch of corset wearing wenches and sabre swinging ruffians is THE WAY to see the new Pirates flick!
