Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes

Post by maximus »

Anyone see this yet? Any interest? The idea is cool, but I never liked the "bald Mordenkainen".

I've not seen it, but heard of it. It might be OK. I dunno. I'm still very much in a retro kick so most the stuff I get these days are things I missed 20 years ago. For example, I recently bought a box set of the NeverWorld game.

I'm actually on the retro kick too. Waiting on my copy of "Caverns of Thracia" to show up. Looking to get a few other Judges Guild oldies as well.

I took a look at it. I have enough older products that do the same thing, so a waste of money for me. If I didn't have so many other options, I'd likely pick it up.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

I’m pretty excited for it. Some of the previews make it sound like there’ll be extraplanar content, and I’m always a sucker for that.

And hey, even wizards can go bald. There are limits to Wish spells, after all.
