Returning to C&C
Greetings!
I was a member of these illustrious forums several years back. (4 or 5+) Name was Blood Axe. Maybe you remember me, maybe you don't. I tried to get back in under that account, but it just wont work.
So I just decided to start fresh. Ive ordered all the current main rulebooks & a few extra goodies that weren't around before, like CKG. My PHB says 2007, so I figured I would need an update.
I see a few familiar names SlimyKuotoan, Trebore, some others.
Its nice to be back & see whats new.
Cheers.

Welcome back. I see an account with the name blood axe associated with someone named Jack and this Starslayer seems to be associated with someone named Chad. Im not sure that the blood axe account is your old one or I wouldve reactivated it for you.

Yes, its me. [email protected] is my spam account for games & such. I tried to get the password back & it said "could not be found", but when I tried to register using that name or email it says "already being used".
You can PM me or email me: [email protected]
I can keep this account or go back to my old one. Either that you think is best.
Thanks.

Re: Returning to C&C
I have a whole box of AWESOME heading my way from the Troll Lords.
All new Players book, Castle Keepers Guide, Monsters & Treasures, Gods & Monsters, Classic Monsters, Familiars, Rune Lore, even some Crusaders. You cant beat that 30% discount & cheap shipping!!
My books are from 2007, so I figured I needed an update.
I have been having fun with Labyrinth Lord/Goblinoid Games. Its a version of Moldvay/Holmes Basic. I like it, but I wanted to try C&C again.
Is there an up to date Quick Start Guide? Maybe I can brush up on my C&C.

When I want OSR I do the Swords and Wizardry clone myself, but I also own the LL stuff. Even played it briefly for a about a month.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Any place to get Frog God Games- S&W in print/dead tree stuff? I cant find the site. The sites I do find aren't working.

Welcome back!
For the Frog God Games site to order dead-tree versions, you can go to:
http://talesofthefroggod.com/
C&C remains my system of choice but I support and love the S&W material. That stuff is even easier to convert to C&C!
When they did the most recent printing, they did a Kickstarter for it and, through it, I was able to get the Rulebook as well as the Tome of Horrors Complete for S&W, the book of Monstrosities, and the Monastery. They look really nice next to Rappan Athuk for S&W and all my C&C books.

Blood Axe, since we got this account squared away, I have deactivated the starslayer account.
