When attaching a file to a post, what are the limitations?

Apparently, PDF is not an option and that sucks. Extremely.

What file extensions are verboten and what is the upload limit?

I looked at my local copy and the defaults are 256K per file with a 50MB hard limit for the server. [Which is one of the problem the Trolls are working on limited drive space, we could not put uncompressed database dumps up on the server because it was 200+MB and they didn't have that left in drive space.]

In anycase the default Group settings are these..... Which you can see is pretty restricted. [That actually extensions that go with this is a very long page indeed so I'll skip posting that.] I'm sure after all the CKG and Holiday madness you can get Brian and Steve to revisit the configuration and figure out what is "ok". It would be nice to post PDF files and other Document Types.
