Is the old, old forum still floating out there?
Not the old forum, that we just evacuated. The older one. The one where the original C&C playtest discussions occured.
Just curious. Often this kind of thing floats around on the 'net somewhere.

Those forums could be full of goodness, but it seems that a great deal was lost when it swapped from ezHack to YuSuck. I know my account there blew to hell.

Re: Old, old TLG forum
That's a shame. I know that a lot of what I was interested in was some of the ideas tossed around during early brainstorming. It would be unfortunate if that stuff got lost somehow.
I was also curious about when I started posting about C&C, since the post counts from the earliest board didn't carry over the way they did with the recent move. My profile here says 2006, but from the other board I can verify that I was posting at least as early as 2003.
Sorry ... a nerd moment.

Alas, finally the old, old forums are mostly dead. Indeed, it is missing a lot of the 6 years ago magic... *boo-boo lip*

I put a little extra effort in to preserve the time stamps of the joined on and the posted on, since I knew the nerd's would love itfinarvyn wrote:That's a shame. Re: Old, old TLG forum
I'm glad you did. I lost around 140 posts on my count and the early join date of 2003 when they switched from the old, old boards to the old one we just abandoned. I'm glad I don't have to start out at zero again for this one!mgtremaine wrote:I put a little extra effort in to preserve the time stamps of the joined on and the posted on, since I knew the nerd's would love it
