Awesome! I've got the box set of 5.5 (I think) and played several sessions of it. Haven't pulled the trigger on this new edition yet though. Just curious, What are the cards?

Re: Of Gods & Monsters Question

Second, the book gets many great reviews. What are your thoughts on the book? Mike, Pretty interesting book, but for the most part it's banned at my table. Of note, I'm using one of the Halfling dieities right now in my game, had to think of one on the fly so quite handy. A good tool for the CK, ju...

Re: Increasing Challenge for Shadows of Halfling Hall

DMMike, Just a quick note, we're still working our way through it and having a blast. Party has actually made it to Willic's Estate and gotten in the mix. I bumped up more than half the Zombies to Ghouls, which the PCs did not like as the Ghouls Paralysis causes much havoc. I replaced the Zombie Dog...

Re: Putting my miniatures together...

OK, so I'm painting and customizing my miniatures now. The BattleTech Figures are interesting. I don't like the bases the original models came on. Though they are stable and safe from a "drop" off the table as it's all a one piece mold, It wasn't a full hex, which I found annoying. Anyway,...

Both are now available again and relatively glitch free from gog.com

I loved the original so much back in the day. Wake of the Ravager was nearly unplayable back then, but now... but now!!!

So today is November 1st 2015. My goal was to try to get all my miniatures assembled. I didn't quite get there and like all good miniature war gamers, I've managed to acquire event more. From the last time I posted, here are the things I completed 1. 8 or Civil War Calvary Riders and Horses from a B...

Re: What Video Game(s) are you playing

Skyrim Talisman Digital Edition. The City Expansion just came out yesterday along with the ability to play with 6 players. Warhammer Quest (Tablet Version). I've gotten a little bit into this game. Pretty fun stuff. I think I paid like $5.00 for the app. Lots of DLC it you want it, i.e. extra charac...

Still plugging away at Pathfinder Inner Sea Races and Occult Adventures, I have the Strategy Guide nearby as well.

The Rise of Tiamat is something I'm that I'm still reading thru and easily within reach is the CAV: Strike Operations Rulebook and BattleTech: Alpha Strike.

I'm a big fan of Paizo's Maps - specifically their map packs (5" x 8") and flip maps (24" x 30"). They were formerly known a Gamemastery, but rebranded as Pathfinder Maps. They're all now dry and wet erase. You can still find some of the old Gamemastery maps in print, and buty th...

I agree with Tree. I'm here because I pretty much just play C&C. I collect a lot of other stuff, but C&C is pretty much all I have time for. The boards here have always been welcoming and interesting. I do use and post on G+ occasionally, as I can do a quick glance at a bunch of other system...

Here in the D.C. area, there is at least one game store that sells C&C Stuff. Not really a C&C Evangelist, but it's the only game I'm running/playing right now. I've switched from face to face and started using Fantasy Grounds and have gotten a lot of people, globally, into C&C.

Re: What gaming stuff are you reading?

1. So still reading Rise of Tiamat, the "intro" which gives a long overview about how all the various factions will respond to the PCs was a bit tedious. Necessary I suppose with an overarching plot, but was hard to slog through. The actual encounters are good. Had a couple of things that ...

Ran the second session of SOHH with my group. Tonight we had: Halfling Ranger, Half-Elf Wizard, Half-Elf Rogue and Half-Orc Fighter. Increasing Challenge for Shadows of Halfling Hall

So my party decided to follow an off handed suggestion to figure out what was going on in New Briar (i.e. Shadows of Halfling Hall), instead of looking for Miles Friedman and hence heading to A2. SOHH is designed for levels 1 to 3. The party is as follows: Half-Elf Rogue 6 Half-Orc Fighter 5 Half-El...

Picked up few games on Steam and Good Old Games. 1. Interstate 76' - pretty good Car-Wars-esque game. Set in an extended gas crisis of the 70s in the SW Desert of the USA. Can do multi-player force on force or campaign in which you're a vigilante trying to find out who killed your sister. Groovy 70s...

I picked up the app in the Humble Bundle a few weeks ago and played it on my nook. Pretty straight forward game. I can see how this would be a fun board game. I do wish that they would have had a dice roll option - like the digital talisman version along with cards. But overall not too bad a game.
