Yeah I dont necessarily need a ton of new creatures or spells, and Im stingy with the magic but don't mind seeing any of em in a new module in moderation. I would say no more than 3-4 new creatures, a new spell or two, and maybe a couple of new magic items.

There is no reason why you can't add schools of magic to your C&C game, I don't see how it would add any real complexity to the game. I hadn't even noticed before now that it didn't have schools of magic, I haven't missed them.

How do you do initiative in YOUR game?

<t>I recently had the opportunity to play C&C under another GM. He handled initiative in a very different way than is listed in the C&C PHB, but it ended up being very entertaining. Not only did we roll D6s instead of D10s, but he grouped us into "mini combats". If three of us were attacking...

What's your spin on the SIEGE engine mechanic?

<t>I know that most of us in the C&C crowd are tinkerers at heart, and tend to put our own spin on our chosen rules set. I have decided to take the SIEGE engine mechanic and make the base number 15 for all checks, adding a +6 to checks that fall within a prime attribute. This will give low level...
