Sorry guys,

Ran off to work this morning without posting my character, and still at work. The druid will be posted tomorrow.

<t>I remember waiting for those cassettes to load... <br/> <br/> I started on the old Atari 400.<br/> <br/> You know, the one without the actual keys on the keyboard? It had a flat sheet of platic with the letters and numbers drawn on.<br/> <br/> I loved it.<br/> _________________<br/> -------------...

Looks like we're going to need some divine goodness...

Don't usually enjoy playing clerics, but how about a human or elfin druid?

I'd be interested if you'll take five. Otherwise I'm one post too late.
Cheers...

<t>Hi babbage,<br/> <br/> You may wish to scale a fighter's combat dominance ability to affect higher hit-die monsters as they gain levels, or give them something equivalent to a Cleave feat in 3.5 (there is a thread or two about both lurking around somewhere). But as Treebore said, most people seem...

<t>I like having a heedless-raging archetype class in the game, although I feel as though the C&C 'barbarian' if it's to be called that should at least have some wilderness-survival skills like the ranger. Especially if the idea is that they're living outside of civilized society and roaming the...

<t>I always loved illusionist characters, and I'm happy they've returned to C&C as a separate class with unique abilities. I always hated the 'specialist' system in both 2nd Edition and 3rd. Sorry Maliki! <br/> I like the treatment of all of the classes in C&C -- the barbarian being the only...

<t>I'd also like to add that saving throws in C&C greatly favor the spellcaster in my humble opinion, especially versus monsters. Much more so than 3rd edition or earlier editions. I think it works out fine. Save those scrolls! <br/> _________________<br/> ----------------<br/> <br/> Moorcrys</t>

<t>I'd be inclined to use the 3rd edition rules -- give it a hardness and a number of hit points. Or simply give it some hit points and decide what will actually affect the door, for instance only bashing weapons and destructive elemental spells or magic missile.<br/> <br/> I don't believe there are...

Seems like a great use for the spell... a druid showing his ire by turning the offending entity into a tree for a time, rather than killing the creature.

Great tactic for a low level character definitely... it's going to wear a bit thin as his adversaries get a bit more powerful.
