Re: Advice on C&C Adventure for a Con
Any of the three mini-adventures from TLG's Dwarven Glory module should fit the 4-hour length, or pretty close at least. I've used them many times.

Re: Codex & PG to Aihrde
As a side note, I had the opportunity to meet several of the Trolls at Gen Con. I'm really happy that I support a small, hard working American company that I feel "gets it". When I was looking at a "new game" to get into because my boys were interested in this sort of thing, I reviewed Pathfinder, D...

Re: TROLLCON 2016
I would say this year is obviously out, but I'll pester old Todd about it. I desperately want there to be another Troll Con. I've been selling and demoing Troll merch for five years, and I desperately want to check out Troll HQ. I'm sure Stephen's mansion, Twinkies served on silver platters, Dr. Pep...

Re: Piperdog's Aihrde Campaign
My 10 year old daughter played a couple of C&C and Savage Worlds sessions when she was too young to protest. Nowadays, I can get her to play some dice games (Zombie Dice, Shut the box-an old English pub game, and a few others), and she did play Dungeon once. That said, I can't get her to try rpg's a...

Re: GM Screen: How much is too much?
I remember telling Stephen that it would be cool to do customized gm screens to suit the preferences of each customer. I think my slogan was "Your screen, your way."
There's not enough time in the Dens to bang out that sort of product, but I liked the idea.

I have to agree. I thought Sam J. Jones' bits in Ted were funny. Ted 2 overall was pretty funny, but there should've been only one film. The first one made some money, so that's the nature o the biz.

Re: Flash Gordon...
1980 Flash Gordon may be a bit cheesy, but it's still one of the great cult classics. The screenplay was written by Lorenzo Semple, Jr. He was the same guy who wrote the 60's Batman movie, as well as some of the episodes. Flash Gordon was the only cheesy cult classic from 1980. Let us not forget Can...

Re: Why is the HH Game Master's Guide OOP?
I think I just sold my last two copies (from my TLG convention stock) of the Players Guide to Haunted Highlands. They were the leather? versions. I had heard that one was out of print. Damned shame, as those books have stats for orc, goblin, hobgoblin, meshkuri, and some sort of dark dwarf pc's. At ...

Re: What boardgame(s) are you playing?
I recently received a copy of Zombie Dice from Kerry Breitenstein (of Twilight Creations) at GenCon. I told her I had (after many years of putting it off) bought many of the sets for the main Zombies game. I also mentioned that my children, one in particular, have been gaming with me some. I told he...

I was working at the Troll booth (at GenCon) when this was announced. However, I saw Shane, Clint and Jodi Black, and some of other Savage contributors. I made sure to let Shane know how proud I was of their success, as well as the company's 19 years in the business. I need to get caught up on some ...

Re: What gaming stuff are you reading?
After many years of glancing at a particular product, I finally bought Qags: Quick Ass Game System from Hex Games. These guys have been around since 1998. Their booth was right behind TLG's at Archon recently. I also availed myself of their Aces and Apes WW I supplement, as well as Rasslin'. Mind yo...

Re: Classic Monsters up for second printing..
I remember (quite a long time ago) that somebody said some of the wagon capacity values and the modifier for firing one arrow were wrong (from the first printing). I think it was in an old thread. Not sure about the latest 2nd printing, but I do recall that the modifier for one arrow shot (for multi...

Pulp Hero (for the Hero System) was a great book. You'd have to check their site. The book released 10 years ago. I would imagine it's still in pdf at least.

The HH material is fantastic. Not sure if the HH Players Guide is coming back into print or not. I'm fairly certain TLG is sold out of it. It's probably still available in the pdf at the very least. It's a nice book for any Castles and Crusades game.

Michael, I daresay there were 20+ C&C games on the schedule at last year's Gary Con. It's a fantastic convention put on by Luke Gygax and his friend, Dale Leonard. They work hard to make it a wonderful experience for guests, vendors, and attendees. Top notch!

Oh yeah. The deck plans. I bought a few of the packaged deck plans years ago (some of those 5 for 25 deals, I think). As for sci-fi, Savage Worlds has The Last Parsec. I have two or three of their books so far.
