14 con +1 attribute mod = 15 no overall change still +1 bonus

15 con +1 attribute mod = 16 change to +2 bonus

I'm guessing you looked at 4 Winds, what didn't you like?

Duel will really help you flesh out the Clans, especially if you don't have the older Way Of's or Secrets Of's.

For C&C I wouldn't go for exploding dice.

If your looking for more grit, reliance on ability scores and more realism the bell curve is the way to go. If you want to keep the same range 1 to 20, roll 3d20 drop highest and lowest.
