So I bought the pdf, but could not find anywhere to buy the actual book. Am I over looking something? Is it out of print?

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

ok for some reason I was locked out for three days from the site. I think I need to stop posting this game. It is becoming too much to do. SO if you would like to follow it, you will have to follow it on the Obsidian Portal in the Adventure Log section here: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/d...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

Some notes: I've been in the hospital on and off so the postings have been off. Also, the parts in bold black are passages that players right. Most of the time I'll put it up as is and sometimes I'll rewrite what they posted into the general story. The man (woman?) landed softly without making any ...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

“Hmm,” thinks Erlend. "The Baklunish and we Suloise don’t always get along so well, thanks to the old wars. Personally, I’m not one to hold grudges over obsolete feuds, but I’d better tread carefully anyway, just in case they aren’t so enlightened … " Erlend casts a cool gaze over the lot. "Which o...

Re: Classic Monsters: The Manual

This is from the Troll's Tusk newsletter that went out yesterday: "Classic Monsters is completed and at the printer. It should be out in the next few weeks, assuming there is nothing wrong with the text or what have you. The bundles will ship as we get them in and then the whole deal will go off to...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

Erlend took a deep breath and tredge across the room aiming for the bar. It took awhile to get the Bar Keep’s attention. The Bar Keep, a mountain of a man who had to weigh no less then 380lbs,came up and in a ruff voice ask “Yea what do you want” Erlend ordered an ale and said “My name is Erlend,a S...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

Once inside. Erlend pauses and takes a slow, careful look around to get a handle on his surroundings The sights were a little too much for a country boy to see. Every table was full with sailors, Swords for Hire, Gamblers, Elves and other races he’d never seen before and …ladies of the evening. Tho...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

“You’re welcome,” says Erlend to the smelly Weasel, and then thinks about going back to his own business. “Where’s that inn, again?” he wonders aloud. Jorad was still weak and could not get up. He looked up at Erlend who until now had not fully seen the thief. While his face could be considered by s...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

Erlend walks closer to the two guards (one being the captain). “Hey! What’s going on over here? Looking for rats? It’s a shame that city budgets are so poor that they have you law enforcement agents working as pest control too. Seem like you’d have better things to do with your day.” “This captain l...

Re: My "Dark Greyhawk" Game

I'm one of the potential players. Just haven't had time to read up on the rules & regulations, nor to create a character. Grandkids and daughter have needed my help a bunch this week because of an upcoming funeral. Then there's these taxes which aren't getting done. *sigh* Maybe I'll be able to be ...

Re: Cover and logo for 5th printing phb?

1. All monsters illustrated. 2. Dispense with the half naked soft porn women. It's 2012 show a woman that is strong and one that doesn't need to be at the heels of a man (or that strongly implies heterosexual centered lesbianism) 3. Not just a picture that covers the whole cover, but something that ...

Re: One Step forward, Two Steps Back

The problem with bookmarking is that it marks whatever is on the page. So if you mark the page with say one class and it's talking about the class before it, the book mark will be different and you have to remember what it means. Where as if it was just indexed, when I click on wizard I would go ri...

Re: One Step forward, Two Steps Back

To be honest, the pdf works better on the kindle then the kindle book. It just really makes me mad and frustrated at the same time. I've bought the Hardback, Pdf and now Kindle book. That's around $50 and is it too much to ask for a full index? BTW, another thing to point out is that at least in the...

One Step forward, Two Steps Back

So for a while I stopped playing C&C. I will not go into the reasons here. That has been posted elsewhere. But then I found out that The Trolls put the core books on Kindle and seeing a progressive step like that got me to want and support them again. Besides I'm finding more and more people who lik...

Re: Just how small is the print in the CKG digest?

The digest print is pretty small. I'd say font size 4 or so when compared with MS Word font sizes. ~O humm my only goes to size 8. Any smaller and you'd need a magnifying glass. I think what the reviewer meant by being glued in (for the hardback) was that it was glue only and no stitching or any su...

I've found it real cheap online. I would buy the hb, but one reviewer on youtube said the pages were glued in.
