Re: Point buying options for Attributes?

First, thanks for answering. This has brought up an entirely different point in the game when I asked about Beauty being included. We know what the Beauty attribute does for a character when meeting npc's, but should it apply for other pc's? I know full well how I feel about the subject, I was just ...

Re: Point buying options for Attributes?

Hello, I am new around here. I was curious if there are any point based system to buy your attribute scores? I am not very found of random character generation. It takes the fun out of imagining your character... only to make rolls that don't live up to that image (and also point based is more fair...

it's a shame the book is only for druids. It would be nice if there was a player's handbook for all the classes.

Re: Question: The Knight's Birthright Mount

I think it along the same lines as those ( and they will remain nameless) who want to play unplayable character races. I had one wanting to play a centaur. A "discussion" ensured with me saying "Sure you can play it" knowing full well what was going to happen. Before they even got out of the town, t...

Re: Question: The Knight's Birthright Mount

As for the "too powerful" thing, remember it's just a horse. Unless you are doing some grand above ground only campaign, that horse is nothing but a liability when you go dungeoneering. "Oh sorry Sir, but while you were exploring the lost caverns of Tel Nogh, your prized warhorse was eaten by a grif...

Re: PH 5th printing...

I agree and said so on my youtube post. Overall the coloring was GOOD, not great.
To be truthful I think I prefered it in black and white, but I understand most would
want it in color.

Re: The Fighter...

I think the fighter is great as is, IF you use the progressions I found on a pdf known only as hlc. Don't know who did this pdf, but I love it. This is the fighter after level 12: Combat Dominance continues to advance after 12th level, granting an additional attack at levels 16 and 20 against creatu...

Re: Question: The Knight's Birthright Mount

Remember RPG classes are BASED on historical examples and yet do not and are not historical themselves. I stand by what I say. Part of the RPG class is horsemanship. I would even argue that to full fill the idea they should start with a suit of armor.

Re: Question: The Knight's Birthright Mount

why not just give a warhorse?? It's not going to be that unbalancing. Wouldn't he be givin a warhorse and not a riding horse? Giving a knight a riding horse is like giving your son his Grandmother's Pinto for his first car.

I created a shield device and need the jargon used to describe them. Please :D The rock on the bottom is a meteor that is sacred to the knightly order.

Times per Day

This just rubs me the wrong way. I guess I understand it for powerful monsters with magic, but then you come to things that are intricate to them like breath weapon and I don't see it. And when you get to character classes it's laughable. Esp classes like knights and Nobles. I only have it in me to ...

I have questions about damage types. I don't see anywhere in the players book about damage type ie, Fire, Acid, Magic and whatever else. Is it in there? And if not, does that mean that everything is thought to be able to take damage from all those things equally? Here is what I have so far THE ALCHE...

Wow thanks so much. I still see a lot of Pathfinder stuff in it (Fort save etc) but that's good. I wonder shouldn't they be 4 hit die instead of 8 or at least no more than 6? I think it's a little too much still but it gives me something to work on. Thanks again. Anyone want to pitch in their though...

So a new player to our game wants to play an alchemist like in Pathfinder. So what would this class be like in C&C after stripping all the pathfinder crap off of it?
