Re: Fantasy Races third-party material

I've sent over my kobold for Peter Bradley to take a look at. Hopefully, he'll make a pdf out of it, too, while he has it. :) Tieflings next. Then likely goblins. Btw, I included alternate trait that you could trade out for with the kobold. I'll do this with all the races I'll present. I liked the ...

Re: Fantasy Races third-party material

great news! I too like the idea of variant core races, but also minotaurs, or perhaps (dare I use this word) make a template for beast-headed people, so you could be a pig-face, bull-head classic minotaur, dog head, or even mosquito headed monster guy. why stat each one separately? how about playab...

All is fair game, including races. Do you want some black powder in your C&C?

Also, any interest in planar material?

Christina, From his website, it looks like he's focused on fulfillment of the Appendix N Adventures and Delving Deeper Boxed Sets. IIRC, Other than the Ruins of Ramat, the other C&C Stuff he's published was under the Arcane Creations Imprint led by Pat Bellavance check them out here: http://arcanac...

Re: Am I on a Nostalgia Trip?

As an upcoming C&C publisher, I want to begin outputting things to get you excited about C&C again. I have lots of gaming ideas, but I need to know there is an audience of consumers who want these things. I need a base who is willing to support my efforts, in other words. What are you planning on p...

Re: Am I on a Nostalgia Trip?

I just want to say that my 'nostalgia' thing has nothing to do with a lack of love for C&C. It is more of a missing of the early days of the game when a lot more seemed to be going on. I look at the explosion of material from the OSR and sometimes wonder why the C&C community has not followed suit?...

Re: DCC RPG

I got a license from Joe Goodman to create for the system. I was just trying to gauge who is playing. I have a Savage Worlds license, too.

Btw, is Brave Halfling still doing C&C material? I noted John was doing some DCC stuff now, but I hadn't heard anything else about his C&C stuff.

Re: Fantasy Races third-party material

I'd love to see the 2E Complete Humanoids book pretty much completely redone for C&C. Plus having every creature on the Reincarnation chart done up as a playable "race". I don't recall that particular book, but list what is in it, and I will use that as a starting point. Note that I'm interested in...

Re: Fantasy Races third-party material

Minotaurs, Warforged, Dragonborn, Tiefling. Minotaurs and tieflings are OGC, so not an issue. The others would have to be changed somewhat, but that is not impossible. There are OGC versions of similar things that can be emulated. On another note, would you want the ability to trade out a trait for...

Re: Fight On! is coming to an end. :(

I know KQ recently went down, but there's was never a monetary issue, as far as they revealed. Theirs stemmed more from not having the time to produce the magazine, which I can probably hypothesize came from them getting more involved in their non-KQ pursuits. I worked on the magazine its last year...
