Dwarves vs Encumbrance

<t>Has anyone included the idea from 3.5e where dwarves aren't as affected by encumbrance as other races... at least with respect to movement penalties? Maybe movement penalties only start at 1/4 when they reach "heavy burden"? 3.5e would go so far as to make it "overburdened", but I think that'd be...

Oh wait, you mean when I'm preparing/playing. D'oh. I don't play in any tabletop games, unfortunately, so I have nothing else to contribute.

Yeah, if PCs gained back 1 hp/level for resting, as they do in d20D&D, I'd definitely have said the former was right, but with them only getting 1hp back for resting, like in AD&D, it was defnitely the latter for me.

The only time I've ever awarded xp for a magic item to only one character was when that character figured out what the item was, completely on his own, without benefit of Identify or any other spell. Other than that, I've always just divided the total xp between all the characters.

Yeah, I've run into that problem with 3.5e... combats just take far too long... to many tiny little factors you have to keep track of and such. C&C is just so much more concise.
