Nope on S3, yet. But I ran S2 White Plume last year, the players had a blast. There is a typo laden write up in the Crusades sub forum.

OT: Goodman Games put out The Dread Crypt of Srihoz for C&C, it's an omage to ToH . It's pretty crazy hard also.

I know that feeling! I had to do the same thing a few years ago. As loath as I was to do it, it worked out for the best in the long run. The participation of others went way up once the other player was gone. So good for you!

Re: Iron druidic weapons, the expensive facts

Off the cuff: "All druid weapons which are typically forged steel weapons but are instead made of wood do half damage relative to their steel counter parts and must be replaced after 50 blows (hit or miss)" ??? They wouldn't make them out of wood. They would be made out of copper or cold forged iro...

Of course eventually Ironwood solves the problem nicely. But I like the details you've provide about composition and methods.

Re: Clone spell potential problems?

I agree with Traveller 100% Players who want to abuse spells to achieve immorality are actively seeking to break the game. Can it be done, sure it's easy. But there should be a understanding that doing that is the wrong path. Some players see it as a challenge to subvert anything the DM can throw at...

I put CK. But not from lack of wanting to be a player. :( As the years roll on I find if I want to play I have to run it. (And send a lot of emails, and a few phone calls.. Dude where are you??? We are starting, everyone is here. )

Now, for the situations that occur more often, say the "pit trap" is 6d6 to much for a 30 foot fall into a pit trap? Based on a 0 level humans HP, yes 6D6 is WAY too much. Just look at the % that would survive using 6D6. That tells the story... True, but that's a 0 level human and 30 foot fall woul...

The level maps look pretty big which probably adds to the wandering around not getting any where feeling. Undermountain looks like that to me also. I get what your saying. I liked running Castle Whiterock. They did a good job delivering it in "bites" as you say. I still condensed some stuff here and...

I hear ya, although I doubt I was ever able to run a module as is... :) When I have a module I want to run what I do is make a tear-sheet of the encounter stats and treasure.
