Whirlwind Attack with natural weapons?

How would others handle a creature that was a Barbarian but used natural weapons. [Claw x2, Bite]. Would you allow for the multiple attacks per target or just the defined 1 attack per target as per BTB Whirlwind attack.

In old AD&D a 6th level fighter vs a fireball regardless of caster level would have needed a 14 base. So.... the fact that the cater level now matters seems more interesting does it not?

<t>Well I get what they are saying BTB, Dragons aren't Wizards, they are more exceptionally gifted dabblers, so their power rating has little to do with the true professionals. Which is fine but not they way I want to deal with.<br/> <br/> Now 1/2HD = Level is close to "about right" with a simple me...

I was leaning towards a general 1/2 HD = Caster Level also. With the obvious rare case of whatever level I deem fit.

Dragon Magic Casting Level

<t>I noticed something that I thought was odd. In general the casting level of Dragon's who have gain magic spells is not specific. Does say the spell-like abilities are used at age category, and Gold Dragons specifically say they cast their spells at age category.<br/> <br/> However, for a Gold Dra...

<t>I'm at the point where I'm 99.9% sure that this is doable. <t>The WWW::phpBB module has some issues [naturally], it's going to take some debugging to figure out why it's not working. I'll have to see if it seems worth it or not. I started looking at this last night and installed a phpbb3 board on my server. Tonight I'll write the perl scrape using the module Aergraith pointed out and let you know how it goes. If it gets most the content we can figure it out from there.

Yes, it's a hard sell, which is not worth the effort.

How about Rogue's dual wielding? How do you feel about allowing both attacks to get Back Attack multiplier? [Or Sneak Attack for that matter?]

<t>Good points on both sides, thanks Tree for the specific page reference. I'll probably end up agreeing and going that way although in my mind I was kicking around a half step which was no strength damage added the multiplier. The reason would be the Back Attack is more of a finesse attack, it's no...

As I suspected different opinions , this is why it is important to included examples in the text. The combat example has a Sneak Attack, too bad it did not have a Back Attack example.

PHANTASMAL KILLER - Over powered?

<t>I just ran into this in our C&C game and decided to house rule it. But I wonder how many people are leaving it BTB? It seems like most of the Save r Die spells were taken out. [No Posion as a Spell, no Slay Living, etc...] was this one missed? It seems horrible over powered under SIEGE style ...
