Re: More web-store problems!

It would be pretty strange for the DB to return the wrong data, I would be more prone to believe that somehow there was a cookie clash or something browser side that had to do with php session info. Did you happen to get a cut and paste of the shipping info? They could from that at least see who's a...

Nice... See if you can sticky it... I'm pretty sure you are still a Moderator in that Forum. I tried to mimic the groups at the old forum.

Re: Where is the Errata?

Part of the limitation of the scrape was to lose links, attachments, and sticky-ness... So the Thread that was titled Errata Archives did make it.... Here http://www.trolllord.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5492 But the links got lost. So either Traveller can edit his original post and get a mo...

Re: Old, old TLG forum

That's a shame. I know that a lot of what I was interested in was some of the ideas tossed around during early brainstorming. It would be unfortunate if that stuff got lost somehow. I was also curious about when I started posting about C&C, since the post counts from the earliest board di...

It has not come up in my game yet but..... The mortal cap is 25 [the tables go out to 30 for monsters & gods] Each type of Magic can be used only once per character per attribute. The Magics are Wish, Miracle, Alter Reality, Act of Nature [yes each class has it's 9th lvl Wish like spell] + Stat ...

Re: Reimagining SRD Fiends: The Pit Fiend

Yes I agree these are nice done. I had just spent some time a few weeks converting the Demons, Devils, Angels using AD&D bases with some cross referencing to the SRD for progression of AC and HD etc... Now you got me wondering if I should just steal yours :P

Re: Avatars?

Lots of imprecision has got us to this point in time :)... As I warned some stuff would get lost in the scrape and parse. [From end to end it takes about a 14 hour processing.] At this point if you can identify major threads that got dropped I can try and figure why and reinsert them. I just did tha...

Re: Where is my thread on the new boards :(

There were a handful of posts that failed to insert correctly. Sadly yours was one of them, at 107 pages long it is kind of tricky to reach out and fix quickly. I found the error in the scrap data that made it barf now I just need to figure out how to put it back [safely] into the new board. Hang in...

Re: Trouble staying logged in

Alright I think I fixed it. That was my fault the cookie domain was set to the hostname of my desktop ;) so there was no way for the server to use the cookie it was setting. It should now be giving out valid cookies with the www.trolllord.com domain and forums as the path. Thanks for pointing it out...

Fin,

If I close my browser and come back I do not login automatically. Perhaps something is set wrong. It's got to be cookie related.

Re: TLG's 12 Days of Trollmas

Picking up where this thread left-off on the old forum. :) 3. Digest sized core books! Interestingly, the CKG is included. I'm guessing those bundles won't ship right away. I would very much like any comments from someone that's seen the layouts. I'm not the first to be worried about the font size,...

Not really. The is far less elegant then you'd imagine think duct tape, rubber bands, a diesel engine, and a guy with a sledge hammer. Stuff will be lost, stuff will be broken, but at the end of the day 99% of the topics will end up on the other side..

The scrape is running, the users are already scraped and in my local copy. I doubt the posts will be done before midnight. It's pulling about 50 topics per minute so will just have to see what it looks like in the morning.

Whirlwind Attack with natural weapons?

How would others handle a creature that was a Barbarian but used natural weapons. [Claw x2, Bite]. Would you allow for the multiple attacks per target or just the defined 1 attack per target as per BTB Whirlwind attack.

In old AD&D a 6th level fighter vs a fireball regardless of caster level would have needed a 14 base. So.... the fact that the cater level now matters seems more interesting does it not?

Dragon Magic Casting Level

<t>I noticed something that I thought was odd. In general the casting level of Dragon's who have gain magic spells is not specific.
