<t>This game just seems better and better! The fact that the game is heavily C&C based just makes me even more interested. <br/> <br/> I assume that you haven't introduced loads of skills and traits, but use 'backgrounds' in a similar manner to the examples on your personal webpage. (I'm just re...

<t>OK - game sold to the man with a trenchcoat in the corner!!!!!!<br/> <br/> In a way I wish I hadn't heard about this, as it's probably ages until it gets released and I REALLY want to see this game. <br/> <br/> I really like the sources you've gone to, and must admit that I may want to see this m...

<t>I do wonder if some of this is all a matter of personal taste - to my mind a level 12 thief SHOULD be able to cross the rooftops as readily as walking the street! Similarly, a high level fighter able to lift a fallen beam with no problem seems right to me (after all they can't lift a whole ship, ...

Quote: a flat CB 15 with +5 for Primes; increments of 5 also tend to be more intuitive Well, I hang my head in shame, as I think there is a chance you could sell me on this...... Anyway, I realise that you can't go into much detail on the game at the moment, but I was wondering what you see as the ...

<t>OK, I can see that, it's just that the 12/18 has that 'quirky' feel I always like in a game.<br/> <br/> I know that there isn't any statistical difference, but the +6 to a roll for Prime stats just feels less 'unique' - assuming this is the route you are going. (Plus, I have a bit of a beef about...

<t>I'm really excited about this! Especially after looking at the optional rules etc on Grey Elf's home page - by the sound of the 'teasers' above it looks like a lot of these are incorporated (which would be superb!). I expect that Troll Lord's have a set of playtesters, but I'll put up an early ha...

Thanks for the replies! Reading through I guess I was trying to be too complex
All seems very simple (and I'll assume HD default to d8 to keep in line with other monsters)- and if in doubt go with the 'feel' of C&C!

Cheers

C&C - conversion advice

<t>I was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I've really got into C&C, but I don't have a background in D&D - I really want to use some old Ravenloft stuff I got months ago from e-bay. It mostly seems easy, but I can't get my head around old AD&D AC and HD values (especially as HD...

<t>Okay, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, so sorry if I'm going of on a tangent, but this is a question for any of you who actually HAVE a copy of StarSiege:<br/> <br/> What is the actual physical game like? I mean, how easy to read/ understand? How good are the illustrations? (Are ...

<t>I have to sort of come in on this thread from something of a wierd angle - I am NOT a long time D&D fan (in fact I never actually owned the game) but came into gaming via the 'great enemy' of Runequest (back in the early 80's). I got C&C a bit back on a whim to try and run a 'D&D styl...

Spaceships

<t>OK, I'm in the UK, so it looks like it's going to be some time before I can get hold of SS (I can't even find an expected UK cost through surfing!), so I was wondering, having seen the examples of small ships etc, how well does the system stat up BIG spaceships? (I'm thinking Star Destroyer, Ente...

CKG - StarSiege

From the CKG page: Quote: Genre rules are discussed and presented including pulp, science fiction and horror (though not romance). OK, new to the forums, but I was just wondering if the intention that the CKG will still have the genre outlines (especially considering that StarSiege is coming out and...
