Adventure-NPC logs

Hello

Just wondering if anyone out there had a link, or themselves had an adventure log sheet and one to list NPC's.

Cheers

Re: Notes "5" and "6" for Weapons Table

Hello

I think a sleeve tangler was used by the police in Japan to entangle a samurai or anyone else wearing robes, the weapon was not used to cause injury but to detain them. if you google or wiki it there should be a picture somewhere.

There is a 1st ed AD&D module called Tomb of the Lizard King you can get from RPGnow that has a black dragon in it. Excellent module besides having a black dragon it has a vampiric lizard king.

Re: Charm vs. Sword dominance

So if the character fails the charisma save vs. the sword he is then under the swords control, but if he has already failed the vampire charm he's still charmed. The types of control are similar as they are both forms of mental dominance. I guess in the end its really between the sword and vampire a...

Charm vs. Sword dominance

Hi ya What would be your decision where the character had a intelligent sword with a pretty high ego score, and during the adventure the character was charmed by a vampire. Who would be in control? The vampire or the sword. This did happen once a few years ago and it was a bit of a problem, the char...

Re: Elf Fighters

If you use advantages from the CKG they can take weapon master which gives them a extra +2 to hit with a -1 to all other weapons, so if you had an elven fighter with a 18 str; +1 for level, +3 str, +1 race, +1 specialisation, +2 weapon master = +8 +4 at 1st level ( wow ! ) .

St Luther the lesser god ( mentioned in Lion in the ropes and Gods and monsters). I don't believe either Martin Luther's were mentioned in either books so I thought people would know what I meant.

St. Luther

Hello

Does anyone have information on St. Luther? I've seen him mentioned in Gods and Monsters and in the Lion in the ropes but that's it.

Thanks

Re: The most powerful monster(s) in C&C.

If the Solar were in the M&T I would vote for them as there is no way any creature besides a lesser god could defeat one, as they don't I'll place my bets on a Greater Morgal ( I think that's how its spelt )

Re: Roll 3d6, six times! I dare you!

My very first C&C character was a halfling druid, I rolled 3d6 and my first score was a 18 ! My second was a 3  The character did last a while until he was killed by a boar ( no spells to charm it ) and I put the 3 in dex so not a good AC.

Re: Best Weapon in the World..

In C&C, I'd say the bastard sword. 1d10 damage one-handed and 1d12 damage two-handed. It's ridiculously overpowered. My players love them. Why would anyone use a long sword when a bastard sword is available? God help me if I ever inject a magical bastard sword into my campaign. That's why I use...

Re: Best Weapon in the World..

I'm going with the Turkish kilij sword, take a look on youtube for the Deadliest warrior ( I think it was Vlad vs Sun Tzu ). Its like having a normal sword with vorpal qualities.

http://youtu.be/ikVMXhcjbYc ( I think this should work )

I was curious after reading you guys writing about Castle Zagyg, so I went over to RPGNOW and saw that the Yggsburgh stuff I bought years ago is still in my Library. Re: Training -- How do you handle this?

I require one week of training, regardless of level to be gained. Cost is 1,000 gp x current level (i.e., it costs 3,000 gp to train from 3rd to 4th level). This bleeds off treasure and keeps the PCs hungry for adventure opportunities. It also allows me to be liberal with treasure. Trainers are rea...

True but its the mind that needs to focus, constitution is the health and stamina of the person, when you feel pain it will be the mind that needs to concentrate not the body.

Re: Spells in combat or close...

In our game we have spell casters make either a intelligence check ( mage , Illusionist ) or Wisdom check ( cleric druid ) when they get hit, the CL is based on how much damage they took that round. I can't see the logic of it being based on the level of the person that hit them as a 1st level fight...
