I'm afraid we cannot port this to Android, as it uses Java as the programming language whereas our source code is C/C++. Android does have a C/C++ native environment, but that doesn't support access to the device API. If all that sounds like techno-babble, the short answer is 'no'.

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
At the risk of committing thread necromancy, I just wanted to note that the iPad and Mac apps have now also been upgraded to v2, with rolling dice and the ability to hide the CKG Options tab. Existing purchasers should be able to download the updated version free from the App Store. Happy New Year! ...

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
On printing: if you have a browser, you can print the character sheet. The export to HTML functionality gives a much better reproduction than we could achieve by writing our own print facility. It isn't just a case of redirecting the screen content to a PDF or printer, otherwise you'd just get scree...

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
The current iCharacter Sheet allows non-standard bonuses, so you can already manually over-ride the default bonuses for attributes below 2 and above 19 if you wish. The default bonuses are calculated automatically when you change the attrbute values (for example if you type 18 into the Strength attr...

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
The cut/copy/paste commands (and the keyboard shortcuts, ctrl-x, ctrl-c and ctrl-v) work in any editable text field. I use them to copy spell text from a PDF to the character sheet, for example.

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
The character data is stored in a .DAT file in My Documents, with all characters being stored in a single file. The best way to exchange character sheets, for viewing, is by email (once you have the email client set up), as we don't support manual editing of the .DAT file and its layout is not guara...

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
Email on the PC version uses a facility called MAPI, which should start your default email client software automatically. However, if you use a webmail service, then you *won't* have any default client software (because you use a browser, not an email client), so it cannot launch it. An alternative ...

Re: iCharacter Sheet for Castles & Crusades Now Available
Hi Arakor Thank you for your post, this is a subject on which we spent a good deal of time working: - We tested the sheets in Safari 5 on both a Mac and a PC, and IE8 on a PC, in US Letter and A4, but we could not test or optimise the HTML for every browser and platform. - HTML layout is not well de...

Re: ICharacter Sheet ~ Castles & Crusades
The cost of $3.99 is for one install, for one user, on one device, but allows unlimited numbers of characters to be stored and also allows you to email them as HTML character sheets (non-editable) to your CK and/or friends. You can download the free version to any machines without limit, but it does...

Re: We need your help and feedback for this upcoming product
From earlier posts you can see that it produces HTML output which can be printed. We have formatted the HTML so that it should print neatly on both A4 and US Letter paper. Clearly if you have large amounts of text, which scroll on the screen version, it won't print properly on the paper version. Tha...

Re: We need your help and feedback for this upcoming product
We've taken on board some of the comments (thanks for your help!) and I've made the following adjustments: Fixed the Touch AC and Grappling AC calculations, and made Grappling AC respond automatically depending on whether Strength is prime; Moved Racial Abilities and Class Abilities to the Notes tab...

Re: We need your help and feedback for this upcoming product
Greetings Folks! As Kevin mentioned, I've been quite closely involved in developing this app, and have been delighted to have the opportunity. The app runs on three platforms (iPad, native Mac and Windows) and looks pretty similar in all three formats. Here is the Magic tab: Windows version (with sp...
