Re: Android App - GM Toolkit

Yes, I have to agree that this is a brilliant tool.
I paid for the GURPS template some time ago and it saw a lot of use at our games table.

Re: Wil Wheaton's favorite Indie RPGs

I'd love to see Wil do a video of a C&C game being run. Not sure if he does that. I've not followed his YouTube stuff before. Actually he has ... he did a 2-part video where Chris Pramas was running Dragon Age for Wil, Chris Hardwick, Kevin Sussman, and Sam Witwer. "TableTop Episode 19 pt....

Re: Vacation

I've a couple of projects lining up that will involve me working away from home. That said, the Better Half and I have a couple of weeks in August where we've taken the time off work. The first week we're just going to mooch around the North of England visiting family then we're spending the second ...

Re: Anti-Undead Deity

Toth is the one who most readily springs to mind. As the Val-Eahrakun with oversight of Magic, Knowledge and Death; he sees the Undead as an abomination. Something that is outside of the natural cycle of life and death. Well, that's how I run his church in my campaign. The priests and wardens of his...

Re: TLG 8126 Codex of Aihrde (Preorder)

Taking that thought further, what about Mordain and Thorax?? According to the canon material, Mordain was slain by Thorax Red Bull before he himself was slain by Corthain. Does that mean that they're not really dead, just currently out of touch? I kinda like that idea and it meshes in with something...

Re: 1 arrow per round: is there nonetheless a penalty?

Just off the top of my head, how about: Make a DEX Seige check against the enemy AC; you fire one arrow plus one for every 4 you pass the check by. Maximum number of arrows is 1 plus your DEX modifier. Example: you have a Dex of 16 (+2) so you can potentially shoot 3 arrows. Against a goblin with AC...

Re: true20

I only played the game once. Seemed like it was okay. How is True 20 holding up in the market these days? With Green Ronin working on the Dragon Age RPG and the "Games of Thrones" RPG, True 20 is pretty lacking in support. I drifted over to the True 20 forums recently and there hasn't bee...

Re: true20

True20 is a very streamlined version of D20. Only three character classes (Expert, Warrior, Adept). Damage is done as a save and is taken against a damage track (separate tracks for lethal and non-lethal). Characters receive a Core Ability plus 4 feats at 1st level. Characters may have an Origin tha...

Re: Skills in C&C...

Obviously there is a bit of conflict with Class Skills in this, so I would have to change things up to fit C&C's rules about Class Skills versus people outside of those skills stepping on them. So I was thinking of having the selection of a skill giving a +2 to all checks related to a Class Ski...

Yeah, remove the PHB and M&T and I'd certainly be interested.

I've only read through the first session report so far. The site takes a little bit of work to navigate, but I couldn't find the character sheets for the players on there. It seems like they should be considering all of the other info. ;) ~O Strangely enough, the character sheets aren't online yet....
