Re: What should I run next?

Then send me the Cavalier and Thief when you can. I am concerned at your amount of magic. Most of these guys played through a lot of the old classics with their highest level characters, so have a LOT of magic. They went through all of the Against the Giants series, then through all of the Queen of...

Re: What should I run next?

I'd be willing to do short games of DCC, AGE and Legends. I would be willing to do longer term games of Dark Dungeons and LL. One thing I was thinking of doing was having you guys pull out your old highest level characters, and run you through the BECMI series, starting with Test of the Warlords. P...

Mike cannot use Discord, so we will be staying with SKYPE until Mike is able to use Discord. He can also make it tomorrow, so if Rigon wants, I can run Victorious.

Re: Troll community

I think it helps that so many of us have actually met each other, even if briefly, at various Conventions. Plus, I have gamed on line with a good dozen or more of the people who post here. More if we include people who haven't posted in a long time.

What should I run next?

Not sure when I will be wrapping up Victorious. I am currently thinking December is likely. So I am thinking what do I want to run next, and thought I probably should ask my players if they have any preferences.

So do you?

Re: NOT buying new stuff is hard...

Colonial Gothic Wow … cool to find someone else who actually has played this game. I think it's really cool but have only played a few times. I bought a bunch of the books from the Rogue Games booth at GenCon years back and the owner/writer threw in some d12 dice as a freebie. I love the fact that ...

Re: Bundle of holding - Rifts x2

Never a big fan of the original Rifts. Too many unfamiliar words. I loved reading the background for Beyond the Supernatural, however. I had a group of guys really into Savage Worlds and they ran a couple of SW Rifts games at one of the local stores. I had so much fun I bought the super-duper SW Ri...

Re: NOT buying new stuff is hard...

Well, over all, I am doing much better than I used to. I'm just finding it impossible to not buy material for something I am currently running or playing. I have gotten very good at saying no to stuff I don't already own and/or play. So over all, I am spending a lot less, so that is good. I will kee...

Re: Bundle of holding - Rifts x2

I ran such a game a few months back. We enjoyed it. If you run Rifts again, will you continue with the Savage Worlds version or go back to the original Rifts? Hmmmm.... Good question. Depends on how much the players like to get into character creation. If they like relatively quick and simple, SW R...

Shall I run a game tonight? Who CANNOT make it?

FYI, my mother still has not died. Its amazing she has held on this long, unconscious, this whole time. She is now starting her 5th week unconscious, second week without life support.

As for question 2, yes, it is meant to enable wizards to wear armor, but at great penalty. -9 if they go for Polish Hussar armor.

As for question 1, I threw their method out and do my own.

Another thing to consider, the spell enchants the weapon, so it is now magical, and can effect magic only creatures.

Yes, but its the Trolls. Organization is not their thing. As for the Crusade, there is usually only 4 or 5 people actually doing anything for it.

7th. I only started with 6th. If you don't get a game going I am pretty sure the GM has room for another player. I believe we are at 5, maybe 6 players, plus GM. Yeah, I'm only recalling 5. We have had more, but they left.

I'm sorry guys, with my mother taken off of life support, etc... I am finding it too hard to focus enough to run a game tonight. If Les runs his game, I will try to play, but I am simply not mentally together enough to run a game.

Re: Elemental Spells

Just curious, not to dredge up bad memories, but what was the problem with the release on this one? (For what it's worth, I've been enjoying it myself.) It was the initial PDF release, once which I told Steve what a horrible mess it was, pulled it, then had Jason bring it up to its current standards.
