Re: Currently Read RPG Books / Resources

The first is the recently released Swords & Wizardry Complete game from Frog God Games. Holy crow, another one?! And now from a third publisher? Geez-uz... I thought the Earthdawn situation was unconventional, when FASA sold the liscence to LRG, then turned right around and sold it again to Red Bri...

Re: What RPG products are you looking forward to in 2011?

Mostly, the dead tree version of the Hacklopedia of Beasts, and anything else Kenzer releases. Yeah, the Kenzer stuff is very well written, but dear Lord, does some of it get expensive! $59.99 for the Hacklopedia. Insane. Gonna have to wait for it to hit eBay before I'll be able to grab a copy. ......

Crusader 24

Spotted something funny...

Head for the back of the book, and look at the order form. Look under the "Liquidation" category.

Now that's some liquidation! You from New Jersey? lol

Re: Binding concerns about Crusader 23

Interesting. I hadn't noticed it on 23 (or maybe some were stapled?), but just got 24 and saw the perfect-bound format. I kinda like it, if it holds-up and doesn't start losing pages like yours did. Did you notice the paper seems different, too? Sturdier stock, and although the colors aren't glossy ...

Re: More web-store problems!

Didn't need a cut-n-paste, the order is still listed on my account. Steve already emailed the person. The order, although listed on my account, had the person's name and address under both "order" and "ship to," and apparently got billed properly to their credit card. I wasn't charged for it or anyt...

Ah, lad, ye never hafta worry yerself about nasty stuff on muy machine. :) I'm an old hand at this stuff. Haven't had a virus, trojan, malware, worm, or anything else nasty in decades. Literally. Re: TLG's 12 Days of Trollmas

Steve anwered some of those questions in this thread . However, since I've asked all that stuff already, I can save you some time... :) We should have a complete CKG by this weekend. The bundles of Digest books will ship out on Monday. If I get the idea that the CKG won't be ready by Monday, then we...

More web-store problems!

Ok, earlier today (technically yesterday, now) something odd happened while I was nosing around on the web-store. Items suddenly began disappearing from my shopping cart, and other things suddenly began appearing. Happened several times in a row, every time I tried to click a page link, with apparen...

Re: TLG's 12 Days of Trollmas

Y'know, with the nature of these Christmas sales, and all of us scrambling to scrape-up as much spare cash as we can find (no couch cushion is safe!) to grab all these discounted goodies, it occurs to me that the annual sale mayhaps be named wrongly. In all fairness, it should be called The Mortalit...

Re: CK Screen Inserts...Again

Sweet. Thanks for the link. :) The inclusion of an Intoxication table (from Tales from the Floating Vagabond; one of the all-time greats) is cute. However, I see one flaw in that. The more drunk one gets, the more it diminishes certain stats. Ok, fair enough, but it includes Charisma. Now, you're pr...

Christmas Sale Questions

Since nobody's asked already... 1. When does the sale officially end? Immediately after Christmas, end of the month, or into the new year? (Helps to know if the sale overlaps with a forthcoming payday.) :) 2. Steve stated earlier that the digest editions are exact replicas of the larger books. Does ...

Re: CK Screen Inserts...Again

Ah, I just love the concept. Best thing Pinnacle ever created. I'm tall, yet despite my height I still always had to pick up and move a traditional type screen when I had to see the table or do something on the other side of it, which would reveal whatever I had sitting open behind it. I know not ev...

C&C Spartan boxed set? What the heck is that? And congrats. I think. lol Edit: Oh, do you mean the little white box collector's edition? I've not heard it called that before. The way you worded that (Spartan and "300") I was envisioning something with a half-naked Gerard Butler on the cover, underne...

Re: CK Screen Inserts...Again

This sounds interesting. I looked at the ones linked above, and they're just regular screens. If the OP is referring to the more recent style of landscape-style inserts, and some exist for C&C, I'd also be very interested in them.

Re: TLG's 12 Days of Trollmas

Yep, Day 2 does say the M&ToA is hardcover. I'm actually trying to find someone from my local gaming haunt that's wanting to get into C&C so we can go halves on the Day 9 bundle. I only want OG&M and M&ToA (especially now that they're hardcovers!) and the revised character sheets, but they're not on...

TLG's 12 Days of Trollmas

Picking up where this thread left-off on the old forum. :) These are some great sale bundles! Things worth commenting on: 1. Hardcover versions of M&ToA and OGaM! Sweet. Not listed for individual sale, yet. To get both you've gotta grab the big "Day 9" bundle, and that's a lot of duplicate stuff for...

<t>Now that the 4th edition PHB is out, I'm curious whether the CK's screen and the character sheet booklets have been (or needed to be) revised.
