Re: Screw it...
You could put it in the Daggerford area. R- Not bad, your game in this area was excellent. I do like the close proximity to Icewind Dale my fav FRs area. For me ~ rename Gitadel Felbarr to Botkinburg and you have A1 and A2 and more. See the Blacktooth Ridge to the right!! This map: https://i1.wp.co...

Then, perhaps you should re-read the first line of the description in PH (7th print.)AntiquarianAspirant wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 8:48 pmThat wasn't what I got out of the description of C&C's illusionist either in the PHB or CKG.

Rolling yer eyes is not a great way to make friends when yer new to a forum, especially when your post makes no sense. All party member know the illusionist can cast a healing spell – s o they know it’s just an illusion . In C&C that is irrelevant. Knowing doesn't help you save or not save. The spell in REALITY causes the wounds to heal. It isn't an illusion. Rolling yer eyes is not a great way to make frien...

Illusionist healing Everything about illusionist healing is ridiculous and absurd. Where to begin . . All party member know the illusionist can cast a healing spell – so they know it’s just an illusion. So, Joe gets stabbed in his guts are spilling all over the floor. With any luck we will be playing Saturday. Hopefully A0 gets here by then. If not I will run the moathouse from TOEE. Of course I ordered A0 and A2 before I found the boxed sets of the series...oh well. So on another note; what happened to the KOTC and the C&CS? Both were getting restarted when I l...

I don't think this changed the face of game at all, Twas just one of so many confusing or conflicting rules, wording and or other poorly written descriptions of the game. Agreeing with Stephen (Trav) - ref to decide how to "play it out" ~ house ruling. It's what we did before we knew that we were ho...

Hi Les. I know yer coms/internet issues really were challenging for gaming. I have some thoughts. Perhaps you could run yer game like a play by post when weather conditions flare up. Have players post their thoughts and possible actions prior to starting the game. And during the game, if you drop, t...

I don’t think your reply was mean or nasty, just slightly inappropriate. As someone who is new to this forum, perhaps you should take a less challenging and more friendly inquiry to a post where you don’t understand it. Certainly on your forums, do what you will – but here you don’t need to educate ...

"Weapons need to be +1 or better to hit... cool... "
Not quite, Capt. Weapons need to be magical. So, a +1 expert sword would not hit, whereas a magical sword (with or without a to hit bonus) would hit.

I would rule that the wizard is immune until the potion wears off with NO avalanche effect ~ otherwise, the spell is mostly worthless.

Mogen David, good choice. Here are some other items for consideration: Yarmulke (skullcap). Phylactery (small leather box worn on the head – see M&T treasures). Mezuzah (metal case containing scripture) worn on a chain or nailed to a doorway entrance. Torah (old testament, 5 books of Moses) or anyon...

Following up on the OP. I re-read this module and had forgotten how well written and interesting it is. Mac Golden did a great job on this. So, I saw that "Fantastic Adventure" is one of the oldest modules, one that actually predates C&C. Has anyone ran or played it? What can be said about it? Indeed. But, this module and a few others were not C&C adventure modules (d20) - cause they were written before C&C was created. That said, most...

Shadows is a great module. I ran it for my group some years ago.
For beginners, though ~ I'll recommend The Rising Knight from the Trolls. First in an excellent series of modules.
Well written and fun to CK, my players really enjoyed it.
