Re: Your dream campaign

Everyone shows up every week. It's usually the same people every week. Everyone understands the game and don't need to be constantly taught. A game that is primarily episodic with some longer adventures that may go on for a two or three session. My best campaigns were the ones that were like episodi...

Converting character from other systems

So I am running AA at Gary Con but I will be running an adventure from Call of Cthulhu and I wanted to use the pregens from the adventure. The only problem is I have a homicidal detective, a reporter, a runaway, an undercover cop pretending to be in a street gang, an old Catholic priest and a privat...

When will the Starship Warden be reprinted?

So I wasn't able to get this at the time it was available but now I have the money but can't find a copy online to buy. So I was wondering when it will be available again?

In the Shadows of Aufstrag Two Rivers/Manitowoc Area

Just recently I got the adventures above and I would love to run all the adventures included as a campaign. I want to run it at my house on the weekends. I have two players and would like to have at least 2 or 3 more.

PM if interested.

Re: Worst fantasy movie ...

I just recently watched Dragonslayer and I actually really liked it. It had a low fantasy movie feel and you get the sense of a passing age of magic leaving the world and being pushed out my Christianity. The whole thing about a King using a lottery to appease the Dragon instead of killing was done ...

Re: Worst fantasy movie ...

You know, I think my problem is that if a movie looks bad I don't even bother to try it. I guess in that sense I'm a "judge a book by its cover" kind of guy, and only the ones that make it through the cover test (or the preview test) even enter my brain as a movie for discussion. For exam...

Movies you liked that nobody else did.

So as the title says what movies did you like that other people called terrible but you have to admit that you at least didn't despise as much. I will start. Conan the Destroyer: So I kind of like this movie. It isn't as good as the first one Conan the Barbarian but considering that the first movie ...
