AA Hardcopies Not Corrected?
I just received a shiny new copy of Amazing Adventures from the recent sale. None of the errata is corrected inside, but it doesn't look to be the Gen Con prerelease version. Has anyone else run into this?
Thanks!
Matt

Dungeon is getting a lot of use around here lately. My wife, who is not a gamer and may just be giving in to Stockholm Syndrome, can't go too long without Lords of Waterdeep.

Re: Players Handbook Corrections and Additions
I suspect that the biggest issue with Monsters & Treasure is in making sure that the rules established in the PHB are carried over to Monsters & Treasure where required, such as EV for treasure and magic items. Most of the other stuff is going to be the typical grammar fixes, making sure the spell ...

Re: C&C Players Handbook, 5th Printing (Preorder)
Here is a sample page for the soon to be released Players Handbook, 5th printing: The page looks awesome. The parchment background does give it a nice touch without being cluttered or hard to read, which were both problems that plagued the d20 core books from Hasbro. The nitpicker in me though has ...

Re: Players Handbook Corrections and Additions
On making it a Siege Check I would definitely leave it up to the CK to establish the CL. Level/HD, dex bonus, size and any other factors the CK deems fit to put in there would be listed as possible examples. The chart idea, though a good one, would knock the formatting for a loop. Also, it would de...

Re: Weapon Specialization - How Narrow?
I'm a big believer in playing RAW which is where my question came from. The quote shown says to select one specific weapon, but the sample weapons listed include a grouping- bow. I've always played it as one specific type of weapon, so a fighter specializes in one weapon listed on the equipment tabl...

Weapon Specialization - How Narrow?
I've always run the fighter's weapon specialization as one weapon type like "long sword." Then I noticed in the PHB combat example, Bjorn specializes with "flail," a grouping of weapons.
How narrowly do you define a fighter's weapon specialization?

I'd like to see the "Expert Weapons and Armor" details moved out of the Encumbrance section.
I'd like to see the grammar cleaned a bit more - some hiccups remian in the Surprise section and the Combat Example off the top of my head.

Re: Any thoughts on the playtester Kit just released?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Is that a question, a misunderstanding, a critique, or something else? eg. + 2 to hit or +4 to hit or +6 to hit (for different circumstances) = 3 different mods. 2D20 high/low = 1 mod if advantage, 1 mod if disadvantage. = less choices for GM. (the bonus/pen...

Not Receiving Password Reset E-mail from Online Store
Hey, TLG-
I can't remember my password for the online store. When I try the password reset, the e-mail is not delivered. Can you hook a guy up?
Thanks!

Any chance of a version for the Kindle? It would go nicely with my Kindle version of the PHB and M&T.

I ended up placing an order for them - it'll be nice to have copies of these books that were printed within the past few decades.

Re: What boardgame(s) are you playing?
Tomb gets a ton of play around here. We've been playing a lot of Defenders of the Realm with the kids lately. We used to play a lot more FFG games, but the setup and tracking time for Arkham Horror and Descent got to be too much for the three hours every few weeks we can get everyone together. I may...

Harvesters - Critter HD Type?
<t>I'm enjoying reading Harvesters and am looking forward to trying it out with the kids.<br/> <br/> Quick question - most of the critters are not given a Hit Die type, just a number of Hit Dice. Is there a default Hit Die type or should we use the die type for the class that best fits the critter's...

TLG Used Games Find
My wife and I were out of town and came across a game store with a small used section. In there, the original Vakhund and After Winter's Dark Swords & Sorcery releases! For one dollar each, I had to pick up that bit of history!
