Yep, good explanation. Your level is about your class not your background or little stuff. Beside you got to leave something for the NPC who are not class based to be better than "classes". Otherwise the best blacksmith in the world will be the highest level STR prime character, not a man ...

yep barter is better, as you trade something you do not need or want or a skill you have for something you need or want... the gold was just in intermediary... but gets hard to carry about.. so you get a bag of holding.... so you carry tons about.... but in the end you are trading. much more fun to ...

Looks like the title will be "An Ill Wind Still Blows". They have a good start, like all things, sometime next year.... let's hope this rush to work will get it going.

love this spell, put caster close to harms way, but behind at least one fighter not too bad... but while it lasts, not long, they are melee weapons and thus require all efforts of the caster to make melee attacks.

Stuff just wears out. Magic on magic still wears out, just fantastically as you see fit.
What the CK Give'th, the CK Take'th.

Simple % roll in town after a hard adventure on what needs fixing or replacement.

Gets boring after a while, so a % of your loot goes to replacement.

I know some things were updated, fixed, new art, but I really am not sure on new content, sorry.

For me, its good to support the game so it remains, but you are right, do I really need another CKG.

For me, it will be the matched set in leather.

I like to think of all of it, each spell, each creature being an arms race. You build the castle stop the horde of undead zombies and skeletons... then the bastard gets a flying undead dragon, so you counter that with powerful clerics you hire in and give a way a piece of their land to their cleric ...

Fantasy by its nature is not going to be historically accurate or likely well thought out. Check out Steven Erikson for some pretty well worked out stuff. But I fear any world with undead, demons, and dragons cannot exist, it would devolve or depopulate to a few on top eating or raising those below....
