Just finished reading about Fharlanghn, he's a pretty cool god, I'm all for having the Monk travel with us.

Just a few ideas for your 'bumping up the fighter' Tree. A lot of things that would make sense should help the fighter stay in the fight, or recover more quickly. Maybe for example, have them act first when they go down and get back up, stuff them to the top of initiative. Or maybe just let them get...

I will be later than usual, as work wants me an extra hour. However, I should still be able to make it for half the game or so.

That does sound like a very interesting idea for a sandbox. Though I guess I really haven't had much of a chance to explore classic modules, which has been quite a bit of fun so far. So I'd like to continue that.

(Especially on the off chance I could continue using gavriel)

I only passed on eating the heart because you mentioned a 15 might still result in death! Even with a +11 and con prime. Though if I had use for scale armor, the scales might be useful. Perhaps a few of my men could use some amror. How many sets of +1 scale could it make?

Well, I've certainly discovered how almost deadly it can be. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do, though I'd prefer the legend of Sir Gavriel Markham to continue.

I've a feeling it's because +something stupid to hit, 2d4+9 damage at an attack rate of 5/2 might not be enough.
