Aragorn/Strider will always be my favourite.

Faramir was another from the books, but I didn't like him as much in the movies, and I didn't like Boromir in the books, but I liked him in the movies.

Definitely.
Both graciously accepted my praise (Larry especially so). I contemplated dropping Gary's name, since I've been working with him, but I ultimately decided not to. I didn't consider myself worthy.

"Hmph..." Kelvan was conflicted if what he was seeing was a good end or a bad one... but being a feast for flies didn't set well for him... well, except for the orcs.

He keeps his axe ready, watching out for the others while they check the tracks and the bodies for survivors.

Kelvan stows the pouch of coins in his beltpouch and takes the orc bow and arrows (unless anyone else speaks up about wanting them). He'll also retrieve his own bow and arrow.

"Aye, let's go." he says, following towards the noise.

Kelvan starts rolling the bodies, looking for any loot and any clues that might point to the orcs' tribe.

He glances towards the noise down the road. "Didn't we just leave that party?"

I'm good with the descriptions you're providing. I do that when I run my pbp games. I have them state their basic action and give me rolls and then I compile the round together, giving descriptions of the combat.
