Re: Gary Con XII
As one of the unlucky bastages who was relocated to the Fairfield Inn this year for GaryCon, I have decided to cancel my C&C games for the con. I'm still going, but this year I'll be sticking to being just a player. Hopefully I will still get some pick-up games this year.

Re: Adding level
Another reason I actually dislike the CKG. It took many printings for the PHB to get the verbiage right, and make everything regarding the SIEGE ENGINE pretty clear. The same can not be said for the CKG which has not undergone any significant revisions. The CKG adds back into the conversation some m...

Re: Worst fantasy movie ...
While that's true, Peter Jackson admitted that they shot entirely too much footage for two movies and however they came across the idea of stretching it into three movies, he completely signed off on. PJ had so much clout that he could have easily told the studio that he wanted to keep it to two mov...

Re: Gary Con XII
I'm in for GaryCon this year. I plan to run at least one C&C event. There was some talk of a giant unified Aufstrag mega-dungeon event but I haven't heard anything about that in a a handful of months.

I received mine just yesterday. The new M&T is awesome. By far THE definitive C&C monster book. It's weighty -- at 368 pages, it's a monster itself! 5-stars.

Re: Tome of the Unclean
Thank you for the great breakdown Telhawk. I am also really digging the TOTU, and appreciate the additions added in by the author. I actually don't mind the new names, and the slightly-off descriptions of classic D&D demons and devils. The Unclean Foliage is really a cool idea. I wish there was ...

Betrayal Legacy.
A legacy version of Betrayal At House on the Hill was never needed. Kinda neat in theory, but actual replay is boring and "characters" don't really advance in anything.

I've never played one, but I have had 2 or 3 playing in the campaigns I ran. The 1/2 Orc Monk is really awesome. Just saying.

If I had the ample amount of time it would take, I would convert ME5E into C&C. There is a really good Middle-Earth game buried not-to-deep in the Cubicle 7 ME books.

Re: Gary Con XI
What makes it a bit sad though is that the Grand Geneva sold out of hotel rooms in less than 1 hour this year for the GaryCon 2020. That makes getting into the con more of a lottery like GenCon. I don't know about any other attendees, but this GaryCon seemed larger than ever before. Especially Sunda...

Re: Tome of the Unclean
I haven't looked at TOTU in a long time (waiting for the hardcopy), but I always boosted their HP and gave them certain immunities like to fire/lighting, etc. But I don;t make them TOO immune to everything mainly because I boost up their HPs. For example, in my games ORCUS is the biggest baddest dem...

Re: Cleveland CON March 1-3 and Origins in June
Sorry Captain_K. I couldn't make it to Concoction in Cleveland this past weekend. That used to be a staple con for me (CONCONCTION 1-5 or so), but I have had conflicts for a few years now. Next Year! But as mentioned elsewhere, I'm trying hard to make Origins this year. Just need to find a place to ...

January 14, 2019 C&C Tome of the Unclean Update Posted by Stephen Chenault (Creator) 3 Comments Greetings from the Dens! We are finished with the Tome of the Unclean. All of Scott Geeding's edits are in and the document is, I trust, a much more solid work. I was very pleased with the edits. Scot...

Farcry 5. ~O I'm on this bandwagon too! I don't know if I loved the game or not, but it's certainly a good shooter with a lot of cool missions. The Farcry series just gets better and better with it's open world. It's certainly not perfect, but pretty dang good. For my money, the best Farcry in the ...

Definitely a fascinating guy. Sargent was my favorite writer of the 2E era, and top 3 fantasy writer of all time. I loved his almost, dry, historical sense of writing.

Where to start? Ok. Nice work on spelling and grammar. Definite positive steps. *Warrior Priest (pg 40), Cure Wounds class ability. Is there a limit to the number of times per day this can be used?
