I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz article
Hi everyone!
Little known (and probably long forgotten) fact: There were two separate issues of The Seeker that were both called Volume 5 Issue 4.
I am trying to find the pdf for the first version. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!
The first was released by Davis on Aug 14, 2003, and contained an interview with Bryan Swartz, as well as some of the very first info about the re-start of the Castle & Crusade Society:
http://www.enworld.org/forum/tabletop-g ... d-tlg.html
https://web.archive.org/web/20040706171 ... D=15.topic
The second was released by Steve on Sep 20, 2003, and contained an interview with Peter Bradley, plus an update on the Castle & Crusade Society that contains details from several weeks after the re-start:
http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread ... 4-(TLG-PR)
(a subsequent poster in that thread mentions that Steve just published vol 5 issue 4 after the same number had already been used on the prior issue)
(This second version is the one already available on the TLG web site: http://www.trolllord.com/downloads/pdfs/vol5iss4.pdf )
If you still have that first version of The Seeker Volume 5 Issue 4, with the Bryan Swartz interview and early info about the re-start of the C&CS, please let me know!
Thanks!
- Guy

Haha, no worries. I'm patient. (The last time I made a request for specific hard-to-find issues of The Seeker took a year before somebody found them, so I can handle a wait!)

Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz art
At one point in the far and distant yestermorrow, I had all things TLG. Perhaps in some forlorn and purloined manner I have it still. No idea how long, if possible, it may take to locate.
So, if you patience, you may also need CPR.

Rigon, thank you for checking.
serleran, I have plenty of patience. If I die before you manage to look for it, well, the bright side will be that I don't care any more

I may have bugged Steve about this already. I'll have to check my notes. In any event, I'll bug him about it Gary Con.

Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz art
Lol, well it's a tricky issue, isn't it. It was only available for a little over a month, before it got overwritten on TLG's server. Plus it's over 13 years old, and basically everybody will have upgraded their computers since then, so may have deleted/lost it even if they grabbed it back in the day.
But I'm patient, because there is no other option. Maybe one of these years the bump will coincide with somebody noticing who knows where they stashed it

Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz art
I did not bug Steve about this missing issue at Gary Con 2016. I don't remember if I did in 2015.
I remember talking to Steve about The Seeker in general in 2013 (I think), but at that point, I don't think I knew there were two versions of the issue in question. The conversation at that point was basically: How can I get you the issues I do have so they can be posted on the TLG web site again? Which is now taken care of, thankfully.
But we still need that missing issue!

Found!
Björn Strohecker (aka GreenPiece) found it amongst his old files and sent it to me.
You can grab it from here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13-M1w ... 65QtScy0gp
I will send it to Steve and Tim, so they can put it on the web site with the other issues.
