I have been thinking it would be cool to have t-shirts that say:

Goblin Athletic Department

XXL (this would be made on bones)

Clakkity Team

I would pay $20 buck for one of these, I might even be able to design them and have them made at a silk screening place.

Hey Combat_Kyle,

I'd love to see your athletic version of Clakkity! Actually, I'm thinking of taking all the various rules incarnations and putting them into a single "master" Clakkity manual (with all the contributor's kind permission, of course) and then perhaps submitting it to the cncplayer.net website.

Well, so far the clakkity pics my wife and daughter are working on are looking good. Still in progress, but looking good. I'd put one on a shirt...and probably will.

After further rewrite, Clakkity the board game must be playtested further so it may be a couple more days before I post the link.

Don't worry though, it's quite entertaining and WILL be worth the wait.

Here is something that might tickle your whistle. If anyone has a phot0 editor and can chop this down so I can use it as an avatar I would appreciate it very much.

Of course if it is made by goblins, then a spelling error would be ok.

Nice job, Kyle!

Incidentally, I need to get together with you and Brian Miller so's we can compile all of our Clakkity stuff into a single PDF. If you guys have instant messengers, would it be possible to get your screen names? Mine are in my profile.

PeelSeel has generously given us some webspace for Clakkity, and I believe the Trolls said that they might be interested in making said PDF available from their website (or did I misunderstand this???) as well. At any rate, let's get together on this!

What all are you wanting to compile together? The messages from the boards? The card game? The logo? More details please. I'm not sure what we're going for here. Also, remember, I've still got more stuff coming.

Well, pretty much everything (meaning all the rules variations). I'd just like to put it all in a single PDF file so's folks hungry for some Clakkity goodness won't have to hunt in a dozen places for rules. And we could even use your artwork/logo for the "cover".
Mind you, none of this is "for profit". This is strictly just for fun, and the PDF will be free. Full credit will be given to everyone who contributes, of course.

As I mentioned before, the logo and pics still got a couple days to go.

If you want some home rules, I'll see what I can come up with.

How soon were you hoping to slap this thing together?

The board game will be ready sometime this weekend. A chunk of the rules is also usable for RPG gaming home rules. Gimme a few more days and I'll show ya what I got.

I'll try to contact you on instant messenger.

kyle,

I'm diggin' the athletic logo. We'd need it at higer resolution for a t-shirt, I think. That would save the printers the trouble and cost of recreating it themselves. Whatcha think?

Well if you want a higher resolution please take my design and imrpove it, what I just did was mangeled together from my meager knowledge of photshop and word (I'm actually pretty good at word). But to answer your questions Inkpot, no I don't have instant message, but I do I have a yahoo account so I can get one. As for what I'm working on for the compliation is a athletic version of Clakkity and a "historic" document which will be an exerpt from the codex of Clakkita.

This will save me having to cut and paste a bajillion snippets from forum posts. Of course, I'll have to cut and paste what's there so far...but.....you get the idear. Thanks!

Do you use Windows XP? If so you have windows messenger built in. All you'd have to do is sign up with an email address.

Clakkity, schmakkity! Haven't read through the thread, but I'm confused as to whether this is a physical game akin to hackysack, an interlude for roleplayers much like dice rolling for a jousting event or a dice, card, board or all-of-the-above game.

The first post in this thread is the "roleplaying" incarnation of Clakkity. As for the rest, all I can say is we have some extremely creative and talented people 'round here.

Although, I did try playing a real game using corquet mallet handles and one of the balls from the set.

Interview with Professor Clak of the Clakkity Institute

"Clakkity is above all a philosophy in life, not in any way restricted to the particular venue in which it appears."

Yes, all of the above...it's a concept - goblins with bones hitting skulls and each other, being pummelled by an ogre ref. Applies to virtually any sport or game...and it's a running gag.

Good to hear, Clakkity the backyard game hit a snafu: dodgeballs tend to bend wiffle bats. Working on finds a new "skull."
