I'm proud to say that my C&C Conan conversion has had over 100 downloads. Not bad for a set of house rules placed on a non-descript mediafire account.

Not bad at all. You should consider linking your rules over at Dragonsfoot.org, or other like sites (if you haven't already). Don't hide the awesomeness. :)

Is this Conan conversion still available to download somewhere?

He still has his last mediafire page up:

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Here is the newest link to C&C Conan v2.

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8z6kl8 ... C_Conan_v2

I also made a v3, which dropped primes and instead each races 'favored class' allowed a full (12-level) progression, 'prohibited classes at 1st level' were topped out at 6th level, and all other classes were allowed to top out at 9th.

I got into the folder using this link https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8z6kl8 ... C_Conan_v2

I had no problems getting it. 82 pages of great work! Thanks for sharing it! Just the write ups you did on all the "races" made my eyes cross just thinking about deciding all of that on my own.

Does anybody have a link to this C&C Conan conversion or a copy of it? I'd really like to check it out. None of the links have worked.

I have it.

I added it to my "Whatnots" for download. It's called C&C Conan Rules.

Here are all the v2 and v3 pdfs.
Let me know if the link doesn't work right.

v2 is pretty straight C&C. v3 is my house ruled AD&D3e version (no primes).

I'm not nearly as active on the C&C boards as I used to be, so sorry for the delay. I've been playing 5e for the last year, and loving it!! We only use the 'Basic Rules' (core 4 classes, core 4 races, with Feats, and all schools of magic added in).

This is really awesome, ThrorII! I've been playing 5e a bit myself. Thanks for saving that as well, Rigon.

I'd like to post this to the private Knights Downloads section of our Knights of the Crusade website. We're going to proactively try to get more player-generated content uploaded to our site in order to preserve it for the future.

Would it be alright if we backed up your Conan content and link to your mediafire url from our site, ThrorII?

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by bumping a 6 year old thread, but I'm doing so because 1) this thing is so good it deserves to be kept in the first few pages, so that way other newbies like myself find it, and 2) to express my amazement and how awesome this thing is, and my appreciation to the author for putting it together (who probably isn't even here anymore).

We're already hip deep in a campaign, but the end is in sight, so we'll be looking at doing something new at some future point. I'm strongly considering C&C Conan afterwards.

I'm still around. I'm playing 5e, so I don't post much, but I lurk......

And thank you!! Game hacking is a hobby of mine.

Apologies for the necro, I'm sure the smell will disperse soon.

The mediafire folder is gone, and ThrorII seems to have last been active in 2017... would anyone by chance have any version of the Conan document to share?

Cheers.

EDIT: Just managed to spot Rigon mentioning that he's hosting v2. Again, apologies for the unnecessary necro.

Six months too late, but I saw this got necro'd again.

I don't do C&C anymore, been pretty busy with B/X D&D, after a multi year stint with 5e.

I'm amazed and honored that this little conversion is still popular after 10 years!!!

The mediafire links are gone, I'm not hosting the documents it anymore. I believe some here have it saved.
