AGP Clearance Sale

Post by jamesmishler »

As you all know, I've been on hiatus, clearing the cobwebs from mind, body, and spirit. And now we are clearing the cobwebs in the study, where inventory has been piling up...
Now through early morning of Monday, January 4th, all four of our full-size products are on sale. This is the FINAL SALE on these four products, as any copies left over after the sale will be destroyed and not reprinted. Remaining books will NOT be remaindered... they will be destroyed. So get your copies now while you can!

Items on sale are:
XXXI: 2007 Gen Con Special (AGP00102, MSRP $10, on sale for $8)... 74 copies remaining
2008 Wilderlands Jam: 2008 Gen Con Special (AGP00106, MSRP $12, on sale for $10)... 58 copies remaining
Monsters & Treasure of the Wilderlands 1 (AGP00201, MSRP $10.95, on sale for $9)... 19 copies remaining
Adventure Games Journal #1 (AGP00501, MSRP $12, on sale for $10)... 20 copies remaining

In the United States and Canada

Buy any one, shipping and handling is $2

Buy any two, shipping and handling is $1

Buy any three or more, shipping and handling are FREE.

In Europe and Australia

$4 shipping and handling for the first, plus $1 for each additional book.

Note: The sale does not include any of the booklet products. If you want to add a booklet to your order, add in the regular price and the standard $1 S&H per book.

Payments can be sent via Paypal to [email protected]. Please also send a separate e-mail with your confirmed mailing address and a list of your total order to that e-mail!

If you want to pay with a check or money order, be sure to e-mail me your order as well, in case the mail gets caught in the holiday frenzy! Orders received after January 4th will not be honored. Offer good only while supplies last. Note that the items at the "bottom of the box" might be a bit dinged, so there are no returns or refunds on items sold in this sale!

You should also check out my special auction of one of the last copies of the Byrny Royal Herald! Some other neat books are also for sale there...

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Any thought of putting out some of this - especially the Monsters & Treasure - for Fantasy Grounds II? C&C has some stuff out for it but haven't seen any other adventures or supplements from third parties for it.

Haven't really looked into anything like that yet...

Pretty much everything I publish will be digest-sized going forward. The time frame from start of work on a large book and publishing, and thus getting paid for it, is far too long. Especially now that my wife is also out of work, and neither of us can find jobs...

Starting in January, I hope (HOPE) to be able to churn out booklets on a regular basis. Each will be dedicated to one subject, and range from 16 pages to 48 pages. Wilderlands booklets will be shipped to subscribers; subscribers will also be able to purchase generic C&C booklets or booklets covering other settings and subjects with their page credit.

I'm back to running a game in the Wilderlands again, so hope to use material generated by and for that campaign as a core around which to build a whole booklet. Thanks to the predilections of one of the characters, I've already got a solid 16 pages typed on Poisons of the Wilderlands... by the time I'm done with it, it will fill out a 48-page booklet to be sure, as most of my material is still in hand-written note form.

After that, Amazons of the Roglaras, as one of the characters is an Amazon, so I'm working on developing that culture even further in more definitive form.

The fact that both of these subjects ties in nicely with work I'd already started for AJG #2 is wonderful happenstance.

Oh, and post-Christmas, I'll be putting up the blog of the first session... I'll put a link on this forum when the new campaign blog is up.

Afraid so, Omote. I figure everyone who wants a print copy now has one. After no sales on that for, well, months, I figure anyone who does not want one is only willing to pay remaindered prices on it... and I will not remainder my books, as that devalues the book and all related products beyond belief.

I've already had plenty of sales on these books, including that BOGO sale. So I figure for now the market is saturated... and right now, space just is not available to hold on to products that might sell a few years down the road. So go they must... sorry.

For anyone reading this who is on the fence: I have XXXI and the M&T of the Wilderlands and both are top notch. I'm sure the other products are just as good. You can't go wrong with these, especially at these prices.

I have them all, already. I have two copies of two of them, in fact. These are so packed with awesome material I will be ordering one more of each after January 01.

As always, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this stuff, even if you don't use the Wilderlands as your setting. I have only actually used the WL as my setting once in 25 years, and I still get great use out of this content.

I'll third this! Great writing style, great material, easily adopted to your own campaign. I like his new character classes in particular, plus his M&T stuff. Can't go wrong spending money on James' stuff.

Thanks for the order, Treebore!

I should note here that I have not yet destroyed the remaining copies. I've been very busy at work on the next product (see announcement elsewhere on this board); as it is a subscription product, I am going to give subscribers a chance to buy out the last of this stock using their credit. Once that opportunity has past, then and only then will I destroy the last remnants.

I should mention also that the M&T of the Wilderlands 1 is indeed sold out, so those are gone for good!
