Mass Combat Rules for C&C?

Post by Obadiah »

Just wondering if anyone knows of where I could find mass combat rules for C&C.
I used to have a signature, but now I don't...

Excellence, bar none!

Basic rules are also in the CKG!

Enjoy the game,

Yeah, I used the boxed set version twice, pretty simple and worked well. Even with monster troops such as Sahuagin and Dragon Turtles.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Someone needs to run a Fields of Battle session at Gary Con sometime soon.

If I think I can actually make it next year, I will. We had great fun when it premiered at Troll Con and Casey demonstrated it.

Quoted for truth.

I played Fields of Battle some years ago at a convention in Ohio. It definitely has more of an RPG feel to it, but I had a lot of fun. I have sort of incorporated the mini rules from the CKG into my C&C sessions, but on a small scale. Works well. Now to just get into another big game!

You run it and I will sign up for it.

Yep, I wanted to host a huge session - 'cause I have boatloads of minis and castle/tower/seige engine props.

But, I'm not good at running that type of game -

so I contacted Casey and asked him to come to GaryCON and run it.

He said he would like to, but suggested I come down to the Texas CON.

Anyway, someday when we finish with my daughter's tuition ~ I hope to attend GC again!

Treebore would do a fabulous job, I'm sure. Mebbe, I can come up to LG for the day/night with all my stuff. Although he probably has loads of FB props and minis.

Not castles, towers, or siege engines. Only mini's.
