Anyone running a "regular' C&C game with an opening
Anyone running a "regular' C&C game with an opening
Curious if anyone is doing a "regular" C&C game (if such a thing exists) and if there was an opening?
ROLL20 and other places are sparse on C&C games to say the least.

There are probably more games on Roll20 than you think; just no one has the game type set or Looking For Players set. And the FGII stats suggest there must be a lot going on there.
What's a "regular" C&C game? One that meets weekly?
In your Roll20 profile do you have "Actively Setting Group For [Castles and Crusades]" set?
What's your availability and time zone?
Looking at the Player DIrectory it looks like 18 people right now are interested in playing C&C, so if someone wants to run it, there's a group to be had.

"regular" means "meet when I can meet and when I feel like meeting".
I'll look more into Roll20 here in a minute....

Of course on the Roll20 main search page - C&C gets you zero results. 5e gets you 6 pages+.
Re: Anyone running a "regular' C&C game with an opening
I won't be running C&C again for a while. Still going to be running Aces and Eights for at least a few more weeks, assuming a gun fight doesn't go too badly for the group, then I will be running Victorious for who knows how long. Then after that I will go back to running C&C. There is a C&C game ran opposite of mine, but not sure if Rigon feels that group is full or has room. We meet on Mondays, 9 to midnight Eastern Time. I use Roll 20. Rigon uses Maptools. There is a Sunday game, next meeting on April 9th, that uses FG. It definitely has room. I am in a weekly Sunday game now of C&C, that uses Roll 20, but we already have 8 players. Plus the CK, who is my eldest son.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I might have an opening in my Sunday night game (7PM - 10PM central daylight savings time).
If you are interested, please reply and I'll check with my players and get back to you.

Also, try sending a PM to user nwelte1, who is running "Nate's Online Game" described in the C&C Online subforum. He's running a long campaign that went from Temple of Elemental Evil, through part of Desert of Desolation, and onto the GDQ series, so it's mid-high level right now.
My own game is on hiatus while we play a different system with Gringnr, but when we come back I may be looking for players. Mine is a sword-and-sorcery, sandboxy, desert-ish homebrew setting. Though I keep toying with running it with other systems.

Re: Anyone running a "regular' C&C game with an opening
I have a Wednesday night game and a Sunday night game, both on Fantasy Grounds (I have the ultimate license, so players can connect with the free demo). I know I have room in my Wednesday night game, and I might have one more slot in the Sunday night game (I have a couple players that have stopped showing up...)
Re: Anyone running a "regular' C&C game with an opening
My game has 6 players and I considering that full. Sorry. I've run groups as large as 8, but it tends to get a bit unwieldy with that many.Treebore wrote:There is a C&C game ran opposite of mine, but not sure if Rigon feels that group is full or has room.

One issue is I get up at 530-6AM every day (EST) and need an "early" game.
What's funny now that I think about it is when I was a kid, I'd stay up til 4am watching Shock Theater...now if I'm awake past 10PM it's a miracle.
