OK, cool. R2 is firing up the converters now!

FG II ~ let's do this!

Delbert rolled a three for STR, so forget about club throwing!

Just kidding, I do need to make my final adjustments in the stats.

Good game! I really dig this little group -- oh wait -- can a person say 'little' around gnomes and halflings? Height challenged? Nope, getting worse. I'll just stop now.

Indeed!

I think our main task now, is to figure out how the orc can carry all of us small races around. Some kind of knapsack/ruchsack or gnomhalfsack.

Hehe, your orc char seems to be one of the nicest, most pleasant and intelligent orc chars that I've ever seen. What's her alignment again??

Neutral good and this is her first trip outside the village. Her potato farmer neighbour invited her to come along. As the scrawniest orc in the village, she was always was picked last for teams so she is pretty surprised that anyone would ever want her help for anything.

So . . I'm thinking about running a game opposite Aergraith.

Y'all are invited to join, if I run it - BUT, don't feel obligated to join just 'cause we're all gaming with Aergraith.

I have three games in mind:

Dungeons of Aufstrag (yes, this can be high level - but I won't run it that way. Steve says in the module that you can run parties of any level. Probably because the dungeon [and it's way more than a dungeon - more like cities and other areas within a dungeon] is so flexible and changing. And there are good people as well as bad, so the PCs will encounter allies.

Castle Greyhawk dungeons as presented and run by me (with inside knowledge due to having the great fortune in playing in Gary's 1972 CG game some years ago).
This dungeon is also way more than just a typical dungeon - many levels of living and changing environments including a bottled city (that would be Rob Kuntz's Bottle City that he wrote and ran for Gary et. al.)

Chronicles of Scandia - my world. Penny and Aergraith have been here and for a short time, Scitzz.

All games will have balanced opportunity for role playing or roll playing. I'm very flexible and my house rules for char creation are robust and favor the players.

Lemeno, if anyone is interested or if you have any thoughts about this post.

Thanks!

Rhu. :P

I'll ask Gringnr and ssfsx17 as a courtesy, but I don't expect them to play.

Rigon is checking his availability with the Mrs. (always a good idea!).

Treebore and Kayolan are very welcome, but I haven't contacted Tree or others that I've gamed with in the past.

Good luck with your new game. Unfortunately I am already in a game at the same time =(

Thanks, Penny.

I've been content to sit back and let someone else do the hard work while I have fun playing.

But there's something about the Aufstrag dungeons that is quite alluring! So it makes me want to run a game. And Gary's Greyhawk dungeon is the same - so cool to play in or run.

Anyway, have you been itchin' to run anything? If so, always count me in as a player if you'll have me!

Thx for saying. I think of myself as a noob at GM-ing so your vote of confidence is sweet. Of course I'd send an invite over but I doubt I'll run a game again. I'm already playing in three games as it is ....

Tonight we should be wrapping up our investigation into the occurrence at Brambletoe Manor, and, time permitting, its environs.

Next session, back to Xylh.

I will be applying an XP reward from THIS game to THAT game.

Once in Xylh, hopefully your ship gets back on course and onto the great heist.

After that, I think I'd like to play FrontierSpace for a while if y'all are up for it. The Heist should take several sessions though.

Reading through the Frontier Space handbook . .

Penny mentioned in Discord about her possible interest in playing a medic Erekai.

I'm thinking of playing a Novim performance artist!

NOT!

We ended up having Giskard follow around and not get involved in combat.

6 more DP for the session, so you have a total of 12 so far. No spending until mission accomplished.

Party arrived at main wreckage site and entered the craft, and fought "scavloopers", which are tentacle-faced dog-like creatures and avoided a fight with a camouflaged beast that rolls over people.

I believe you are at 4 days of paid work on-site at this point.

We'll probably wrap up the adventure this weekend. Think about what you want to do next:

1. Spend your DP and do another FrontierSpace adventure.
2. Get back to your ship and do your heist in Xylh.

Assuming we survive.

Like P, I would like to continue to be in space but am open to any option made by the others. I'd like to get to know this city and planet. Who is our immediate supervisor and what is our relationship to him/her? I wonder what our reception is going to look like.

Also, maybe the Scouts of this place aren't like the Scouts we are familiar with. They could be a powerful faction and perhaps we have incurred their ire? Or maybe they are more like UN peacekeeping forces or observers and their people have made a formal complaint. We may have caused an intergalactic scandal. And our corporation has a mess to clean up.

If it fits I'd like to flesh out the background of my character's animosity toward a rival corporation. Since so many of us have rogue-like and scientific skills perhaps a job of espionage or sabotage is in order? With plausible deniability by our employers of course.

Yes, you'll be returning to the Nebula Vista Corporation dormitories in the beautiful and modern neon city of Vaxxian, in the boundary zone between the light and dark side, where it is always sunset.

There, presumably the human mission caseworker overseeing troubleshooting teams, Gursk Flimbiss, will be there to debrief you. You've only met Gursk briefly. He speaks quickly and doesn't really seem to ever be listening. On your intake you interviewed with various people including the section head, an Erakai called Frzzeek Aphiph, also the human Happiness Officer Ippy Begania who is in charge of obtaining things like snack rations and chair massages and arranging your dry cleaning so you can concentrate on the hard work of increasing NVC's bottom line.

Quite possibly. In any case the death will probably be on all of the vidnews feeds. NVC does NOT like messes. Their place on the ruling council of 11 corporations of Loridian is precarious. If it were proved that NVC did violence against a citizen, that would be a minor offense that could be mildly embarrassing. The Scouts aren't a corporation though, so violence against the Scouts by NVC is not as terrible a crime as say, NVC vs. Tri-Corp. Naturally crimes against a corporation are the worst sort.
If it fits I'd like to flesh out the background of my character's animosity toward a rival corporation. Since so many of us have rogue-like and scientific skills perhaps a job of espionage or sabotage is in order? With plausible deniability by our employers of course.
We know of your opposition to Tri-Corp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Neogen. They have a strong presence on Loridian, where they control some of the mining rights, but moreso on Vath, where they invested in the gathering, cultivation, and study of "hostroot", a medicinal herb that held a lot of promise, but now doesn't seem to be of much use. The money they spent there is still reflected in the several outposts and starport.
