That was a kickass session. Lots of theater-of-the-mind, very cinematic.

Yeah... kind of.... I would say dropping an fortress of solitude on a person's head tends to kill them. Now you just need to take care of the Balor. He took Fulgrim to town with one swing.

Well, we're hosed. I don't have any spell that can effect him.

Not necessarily, I threw that at the party with purposeful intent. That intent not being a TPK.

Travelling to AZ home from St Louis home, so will likely miss again.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Well, my plans have changed, so if you run it, I can play.

Just got back from the state park. Took longer than I planned. I have some work I have to get done for tomorrow. So, no game.

I've decided to quit this game. With how much I miss due to my traveling and your cancellations, I just feel too out of the story.

I think this game has run its course. Sorry I have been less then reliable as a DM for the past year, but I appreciate the time you have have shared with me. Think it is time for me to return as a player in a game where I can float in and out.

I hope this won't come across as weird but I've really enjoyed hearing the second hand accounts of your game. Sorry to hear it is ending.

Maybe sometime you can post the final stats for everyone you have in FG.
And we need some kind of resolution. What would have happened if we kept going? There are loose ends from the Deck of Many things and other threads too.
This has been one of my favorite games. I've rarely missed a session. It was at its best when the group was a little bigger, but I've also had a great time when it's just me and Aramis or Rigon.

I guess when it's over, Fulgrim will move back to his holdings, set up a stronghold, and see if the land around the Temple of Elemental Evil is arable and doesn't grow evil eggplants or something. It's probably time for him to see about getting a wife and get some little Fulgrim and Fulgriminas running around, and occasionally have a feast where his brave friends come and share outlandish stories that people only half believe, about the time when we were heroes.

If you want to be a player, what are you looking to play? More C&C or something else?

I've enjoyed all of your games, Nate! I'm only sorry I wasn't able to play more often.

Thanks!

Let me know what days and times work best for you, and if they match up with anything I am still in, I'll see if your interested, then see if I can get you in.

Plus I understand life, my traveling this past 8 to 9 months has had me missing sessions more often than you have been cancelling. Just with me having two houses to travel between on a regular basis from now on, combined with how often you tend to cancel, I just decided to read the writing that was on the wall.

Which sucks, because I do enjoy gaming with you guys. Its why I've been doing so for over a decade with two of you. Plus my character is a bad az, and I would have loved to have had the opportunity to trash Lolth.

No worries Nate. Sometimes life gets hectic and pastimes have to be put on hold.
