Illusionist and Cure Serious Wounds

Can someone give me the rationale behind an illusionist being able to cast the illusion of a cure spell....

and yes, I read the paragraph on how it works with the save check

Jim wasn't responsible. Everyone needs to get off his back about it.

He did some illusionist spells for us, but I was the one who wrote up the healing spell additions and the additional text in the magic section about illusionnist spells. This was done with approval and collaboration with Steve and Davis.

We discussed this again last night. I'm actually writing a more involved explanation of the for the CKG. I'll bullet point it and post it here.

I can't remember whose idea this was in the beginning, it was mine, mark's or Mac's. But I'm pretty sure it was mine. I love it but it needs more explanation and probably a tweak or two.

I'll post it when I have it done, well chunks of it.
