Stupid time change....

Post by DangerDwarf »

Or is it stupid dwarf?

I set my alarm for 4am last night and tossed and turned until I finally went to sleep.

The alarm began its hellish screaming and I got up this morning, stumbled down stairs and got some coffee going.

As I sat here squinting through the pain of the annoying lights, sipping on a cup of coffee I noticed the time on my computer was wrong.

Or was it....

Stupid time change. I could have gotten an extra hour of sleep this morning.

Oh well, to late now. Time for more coffee.

They should move the time a half hour once. And then leave it alone.

I thought that dwarves didn't participate in Daylight Savings Time, kind of like Arizona. I mean seriously, do you need extra daylight down in the mines?

Daylight savings lets us get finished in the mines and pack it up to the surface for the last hour or so of sunlight in order to spy on the hot elven chicks dancing nekkid in the woods.

Hell, we invented Daylight savings at the Minor's Local 307 Union meeting.

I used to detest living in Indiana. They don't have DST there, and they are near the border of the Eastern Time Zone. So, The state is in the Eastern Time Zone part of the year, and in the Central Time Zone the rest of the year.

Nobody ever got anywhere on time because of this. When I lived there, my friends would always say "We'll get there about Indiana time."

On the "glass half full" side of things, last night was the start of our new C&C campaign and we got an extra hour to play.

Personally I would like it if DST was abolished. All it really does is mess up sleep patterns.

Yep, living in AZ is nice. The only adapting I have to do is how all the other time zones have changed with regards to the start time for the on line games I play in.

It never bothers me...my internal clock is on farm time. Sun-up...sun-down....which means I want to hibernate in winter *L*

Nope, no gnomes except the ones the party slaughtered for extra XPs (isn't that why Steve and Davis included gnomes and halflings?)

Thats why I shop FDG.

You don't find that sort of commitment to gnome abuse with just any company.

LOL- we have a torture room set coming in January. Now I have to go and add a gnome to the torture wheel art I THOUGHT I had finished. Like I don't have enough to do already... thanks a lot DD.

Add a disemboweled halfling while you're at it.

Sweet.

I'm so buying that set and printing up enough gnome torture wheel's that there will be one in every encounter whether it needs to be there or not.

Who am I kidding, one needs to be there.

ONe question though Tullis.

You use an ink or laser jet when printing your stuff? How much more could I get out of a lser printer. I know the toner is more but page per $ what type is the better deal overall.

I always thought elves were added for the purpose of built-in abuse victims.

I can get 4000 prints out of a laser toner cartridge, it's by far the best deal. I just saw a great HP color laserjet at Staples a month or so ago for just over $200. I've seen other makes even cheaper from time to time.
