Post by GutboyBarrelhouse »

I believe I'm the first non-TLGer to arrive!

(...and mum's the word until the official launch. )

Hats off to all who made the new forum possible!

A little help for Rigon

Post by anonymous »

I love the new boards fellas.

But I'm having trouble logging in. Everytime I log in I go to a blanck page. Now Rhu tells me that I'm registered, but I never received a conformation email when I registered. Can ya help a brother out?

He's probably referring to the Google ads at the top and bottom of each page. There aren't any pop-ups as far as I can tell (none are getting blocked by my browser and none are popping up).

I hope the "skin" will change at some point, too.

Hehe. J, pop-ups/ads are for those poor unfortunates who use IE!
Us FF users never see them!

Heh, yeah, dcs, I agree. The whole WinXP feel is interesting, but, not to my taste. It does have one nice little feature, and that is the Home button.

The Skin will change and be more in line with the new look for the new webpage. But I have to get this hosted and set up differently.

And yes, I suppose there are no pop ups, just the flurry of ads at the top of the page. That too, must go.

I take it that only the front-end of the forum will change and that we won't have to re-register and all that stuff? Sorry, but as a techie I am terribly interested in the answers to these questions.

I use IE exclusively and I don't get pop-ups. I must be one of the lucky ones.

Now if only I could log in, my troubles would be over.

Ahhh! I'm FREEE!!!

No longer to be shackled by the irons of ezboard. What a relief.

Just one question, and if it's already been answered, I'm sorry. I didn't read the thread. When all the posts you want to save [EDIT]from the old board[/EDIT] are moved over, will you be totally deleting the forum, or keeping it as an archive?

Arg, the skin has been switched from "Charcoal2" to this Windows XP thing.

BLECH!

Please tell me it's temporary?

Aztecman, did ya figure out how to get into freyabb's CSS?

EDIT: to add -

Seems sigs are disabled; at least, one can't be added in profile.

Hmm, should be able to add sig. But I've noticed some weirdnesses. i couldn't add website until I logged out and logged back in. Maybe that'll work!
