Re: A Day in the Life - Yggsburgh
I managed to get a decently priced copy a few years ago, but haven't done anything with it yet. The party in my campaign hasn't made it to the area yet. I'll probably have to dig this out soon. A city adventure would do them good.

Re: TLG, the C&C game and these forums . . memories!
I haven't been around as long as some, but I've enjoyed my time here. After officially jumping back into gaming after a 15 or so year hiatus, I found my way here. I poked around for a bit, read some old threads, and then jumped in. The group was very welcoming, with minimal bs you see in other place...

Haven't been on the forum of much late, but keep in mind sometimes folks just don't have anything to contribute. That being said, maybe DMMike can be of some help. He still comes around from time to time.

Re: Monsters & Treasure 5th printing
Check out p. 126 for the Barghest. They have it classified as a Fey, and spelled a bit different. Not a fan of this new take on it. No idea on the Bag-o-Bones, although I do recall Stephen saying it would be in the M&T.

Re: Monsters & Treasure 5th Printing on Kickstarter now!
I am quite aware that it's been a hell of a long time since this thread was updated, but I was wondering if there was any forward progress on Monsters & Treasure fifth printing's arrival date. Mr. Chenault, on Fantasy Grounds Fridays (Feb. 2018) indicated that the book would be a considerably large...

Re: Half-orcs: How often do have you seen them used as PCs?
I've never played one. They really haven't interested me. I typically play a 1/2 elf. I see 1/2 orcs as neutral at best, evil at worst based on how most societies would view them.

Yes, thanks MGT for putting those links in one place for us. Much appreciated!
I just put a few comments on the DrivethruRPG site. I'm sure it's not what the Trolls want to hear, but they obviously didn't listen when feedback was asked from forum members a few years ago

Re: Monday night Rigon's 5e Nentir Vale
I haven't looked at the old MM2 in years, so it is indeed a guess. I don't recall them having the ability to disappear or teleport, so I could be wrong. Hairy beast with big teeth that disappeared, which we may or may not have killed, is as good as it gets at this point.Rigon wrote:That's the guess...

So very high level stuff, the Demon Lord posts are awesome. I'll refrain from linking at this point but look out KaiserKris' posts for sure.

Re: Tome of the Unclean
A new update came out this morning, and unfortunately it lived down to my expectations. All of the demon lords and arch devils are still under powered IMO. When I think of these creatures, I envision extremely tough/smart/magical. Here's a few examples: 1. Only 4 spell like abilities for Belial. 2. ...

Alignment question
Spoiler alert! Let me set the stage: My son and I are playing a solo game. He runs 2 PCs, I run the NPCs and DM. The party has just about cleared out the dungeon level of The Slavers Stockade. 1 fighter NPC is down to 0 hit points, my son's Ranger walked thru the door with the Terror glyph and after...

Re: Tome of the Unclean
Thanks for the update. It appears no changes will be made to the demons and devils. I might pick it up to be a completest... Not seeing a reason to buy a book that i have to modify to use, already doing that with old monster books that have demons. Agreed 100%. I purchased the subscription expectin...

I have the subscription as well. Steve mentioned working on buffing up the bad guys about 2 years ago, but haven't heard anything since. Hate to be negative, but I don't expect much at this point.
