Re: Initiative,movement and rpg's
So your idea is to decide for yourself what all the bad guys do, then ask all the players what they do, then roll initiative? Or do you roll initiative first the decide? Slowest to fastest? Fastest to slowest? Seems like there would be issues with that(but there are issues with just about anything ...

Re: Touch Spells: That round, or the next?
I think it is suicide for a wizard, especially a low level one with little protection, to attempt a touch attack. That being said, I would rule he had to be close enough to deliver the touch when casting the spell. No movement would be possible during casting.

Re: Keeping a group of 8 moving
Once my players roll for initiative, I let the order stand for the duration of the battle, unless someone does something drastic that would make them drop in order. I let the players roll first, and then I roll for the monsters as a group.

Re: Accessories you use with C&C...
Just started playing C&C. I'm using B2 as a starting place for my kids, as this is their first intro to gaming. I have placed the Keep in the World of Greyhawk, as I enjoyed this setting when I started playing 30 some years ago. The plan is to have them end up running through the Slavers series nex...

Re: Favorite Gary Gygax module?
I'd have to say Steading of the Hill Giant Chief. Really shows that teamwork and patience are critical to survival. Had a lot of fun playing this whole series.

Re: What cartoons do you like?
Don't watch cartoons much anymore. My kids used to watch Phineas & Ferb, which was good. My favorites were Bugs Bunny, Johnny Quest, Thundarr, Speed Racer, and going back to the depths of time, an old Japanese classic called Prince Planet.

City State of the Invincible Overlord. Played in a campaign back in the '80s that used this briefly, and just got a good deal online for a copy of the boxed set.

Human for sure. The other races just don't seem to "fit" the profile.
