Saint Baldrick as in the child's cancer fund raising crew on St Pat's day? Blackadder: Right. Now all we have to do is fill in this MP application form. "Name"...Baldrick. First name? Baldrick: Er... I'm not sure. Blackadder: Well, you must have some idea. Baldrick: Well, it might be Sod-Off. Black...

Vikings vs. Cthulhu

Actually, Vikings vs. Deep Ones would be more accurate. The premise of this adventure that I gave to the players was that of a Viking raid of the coast of Ireland in the 9th century that goes very, very wrong. The players were Troy (Olaf Skullsplitter: 4th Level Fighter), Adam (Wulgar Bear Breath: 4...

Re: Free RPG Day

I ran on of the Dungeon Crawl Classic RPG's free adventures at my FLGS, the Dragons Keep in Provo UT. The people that I played it with were a combination of people from my Pathfinder Game and people from my Castles and Crusades game. I made out like a bandit. I grabbed the Paizo module, the HARN map...

For his blasphemy, the lead singer of Thor was cast the cinematic abomination Zombie Nightmare which ended up (rightfully so) on MST3K.

Re: anybody using labrynth lord?

I own it and the Advanced Edition Companion but I have yet to play it. I looked over and I really love it to be honest. It is basically the D&D I played from 1981 to 1995: Tom Moldvay Basic/Expert with Advanced Classes such as the Ranger and Paladin thrown in. If I could get a group together, I woul...

Re: Free rpg day.

The Free RPG day C&C game was a big hit. I had five players. Four of them had played D&D 3.5/Pathfinder and/or 4th Edition, one of them was totally new to the whole table top RPG thing. Everyone really had a blast and everyone was very pleased with the system as whole. The players found it fun and q...

Signed copies of the Desert of Desolation Series.

At Conduit 21 in Salt Lake City, I managed to round up the entire Desert of Desolation Series and Tracy Hickman, the co-author of the first two modules and the solo author of the last module graciously signed them for me.

Castles and Crusades. I have even gone as far as giving some of my gamer friends copies of the C&C Players Handbooks as Christmas and birthdays gifts but only one person that I play with has ever wanted to try it. I am a member of a very large and active RPG meetup group and I have not had any luck ...
