Serleran,
I have always liked the Diablo II classes. Do you have write ups for the other character classes?

Re: Star Wars Victorious
Building the characters in the Star Wars Movie should be different than 1st level starting characters to play a fresh game. Luke Skywalker would be multiclass, but most Jedi start young as trainees and would only have Jedi training and skills. I built a Kai Lord with Victorious, which would be compa...

Re: How do you make a Playable Rogue?
[I like the idea of making the BtH to 1/2. It then matches the thief from 2nd AD&D. They ought to be superior than a wizard in a slugfest after all. Not sure if i'd go to d8 hit die, but i agree with you that it wouldn't break the game by any means. :)] I understand and I would agree that the on...

Re: How do you make a Playable Rogue?
I do not like how C&C represents the Rogue character class. I increase the BtH to 1/2 and the HD to 1d8. I find that these changes do not adversely effect the other classes but make the Rogue a better contributor to the party. I do favor heavy combat games although I place emphasis on skill use ...

In the Wheel of Time Series there are Gray Men, while not invisible in the literal sense, even the gaze of alert eyes will most often slide right over them. "They are highly effective assassins because of their ability to pass completely unnoticed, whether in busy public areas or infiltrating h...

Re: Rune Lore questions?
The hit dice of the Rune Mark class is supposed to be d6. The author did say they meant the first level to be d8 and the rest d6, but no other classes work like that and the Wizard has only a d4.

Notes for a Victorious Magicians of Dessi class I will be editing this entry later as I have more time and information. Omote,
It works well, but honestly I will be using C&C and AA for my Lone Wolf campaign. I will incorporate some skills and powers into the campaign. In addition, I will use Victorious to create some of Magnamund's monsters.

Re: Lone Wolf Victorious
Yes, both classes would need some refinement to truly reflect the books, but Victorious worked well to create the Lone Wolf Classes. It will be harder to draft the Magician of Dessi and the Vakeros Warrior-Mage. These two classes were not presented consistently between the Mongoose and Cubicle 7 gam...

Re: Lone Wolf Victorious
Preliminary Kai Lord character concept for a Lone Wolf Victorious game. A Kai Lord in the Lone Wolf setting on the planet Magnamund is a warrior monk trained from a young age of seven in woodland lore, stealth, combat, and psychic abilities. A Kai Lord would be a Psychic Ranger in a D&D setting....

Re: Lone Wolf Victorious
Treebore, I figure that Kai Lords have at least two short comings. They definitely have serious enemies and they have recognition, status and commitments they have to fulfill. I used the Enemy and Fame short comings as they came closest to what I was looking for. I also assumed an ability score of 1...

Re: What is the BtH for classes in Victorious?
DMMike, Thanks for the response; your system is working well to convert the Lone Wolf Setting classes. I am wonder why for skills you just have one prime skill and one skill selection by the player. Yes, I could house rule it, but I do not need to because power slots can be converted to to skill slo...

Lone Wolf Victorious
Background: Lone Wolf was a series of 29 gamebooks, created by Joe Dever written in the 80. The story focuses on the fictional world of Magnamund, a fictional world somewhat like Earth in the Middle Ages with both elements of Magic and Psychic abilities. The books have two character abilities Endura...

DMMike, Lone Wolf and Cup is not the Lone Wolf story I am referring to. I am referring to Lone Wolf a series of 29 gamebooks, created by Joe Dever and initially illustrated (books 1-8) by Gary Chalk. The series began publishing in July 1984 and sold more than 9 million copies worldwide.[1] The story...

I am going to use the Victorious Character creation rules to produce character classes for a Lone Wolf Magnamund setting. I will attempt to create a classes such as: a Kai Lord, Valkeros Knight, Dessi Magician, and a Brotherhood Wizard.

Treebore, No, at this time I have not written down my combining process. I will also say that I am changing my base line from C&C to AA. I have been impressed with the material from the AA Kickstarter. The new AA book has more than 30 added pages of material. The AA Companion Book has 162 pages ...

Re: Easier to use C&C or 5E with D&D 1E
There is no question that C&C is easier to convert OD&D, BX D&D, 1st ed AD&D, 2nd ed AD&D, and 3rd ed D&D.
