Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz article

Found!

Björn Strohecker (aka GreenPiece) found it amongst his old files and sent it to me.

You can grab it from here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13-M1w ... 65QtScy0gp

I will send it to Steve and Tim, so they can put it on the web site with the other issues.

Contact info for Bryan Swartz?

Anybody have contact info for Bryan Swartz? He did illustrations for TLG from 2001 - 2006/2007 that continue to be used in recent stuff too. His signature is easy to recognize with its stylized S and a 2-digit year next to or within it. I can't find a portfolio/web site for him—can't even find an ol...

Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz art

I did not bug Steve about this missing issue at Gary Con 2016. I don't remember if I did in 2015. I remember talking to Steve about The Seeker in general in 2013 (I think), but at that point, I don't think I knew there were two versions of the issue in question. The conversation at that point was ba...

Re: I want The Seeker volume 5 issue 4 with Bryan Swartz art

Lol, well it's a tricky issue, isn't it. It was only available for a little over a month, before it got overwritten on TLG's server. Plus it's over 13 years old, and basically everybody will have upgraded their computers since then, so may have deleted/lost it even if they grabbed it back in the day...

I may have bugged Steve about this already. I'll have to check my notes. In any event, I'll bug him about it Gary Con.

Re: East Mark Gazetteer....Signed by Gary Gygax! BONUS

Also, I think the seller did himself a disservice by misspelling Gazetteer, and by including neither Zagyg or Gygax in the listing title.

Re: East Mark Gazetteer....Signed by Gary Gygax! BONUS

Thinking...is it one of those signed during Gencon 2008 that I have seen listed on Noble Knight games for $125? Searching all over for a signature and missed it twice....but its as plain as day right on the front cover....also it was clear as day on the photo of the auction but didn't see it and no...

Then pictures of the Title page? Haven't see that yet on any of the entries....easy to do though if that is something that needs to be done. I've only added the Title page to a couple entries, but I've seen it in various others. Since title pages usually/often contain the credits, and make it easy ...

Re: Page Count of adventure module A1 to A4

They're not being consistent. Yeah, but that's what happens when energetic folks add stuff to the database when they don't have enough details about the other variations of the items in question. That's also why it's important for folks to add meaningful descriptions of the content (i.e., not just ...

Traveller, yeah, speaking to the choir on that one. I've worked with them to split various entries to better conform to their "98.3% rule," but run into limitations due to the site's multiple purposes. On the one hand, they want to be a proper database with correctness being a high priority. On the ...

Re: Page Count of adventure module A1 to A4

One example: The original 2005 version of A1 Assault on Blacktooth Ridge has 24 pages, plus maps on the inside covers. The circa-2008 printing* of A1 has 28 pages, but no maps on the inside covers. The additional 4 pages are made up of a less dense layout (maybe a very small amount of added text), p...

Re: Page Count of adventure module A1 to A4

Some (but not all) of the page count increase is due to the originals having maps on the inside front & back covers. In the later releases, these maps were moved to normal pages.

Anybody have these covers of U1, U2 or U3 ?

Do these covers of U1, U2, and U3 exist in printed form? rpg.net says that versions with these covers were printed & released in roughly 2009, but I haven't found photographic corroboration anywhere (and there are lots of TLG convention booth photos that could corroborate these, but don't). http://w...

The d20 version of the module has the cover subject facing to the left, whereas the C&C version is a mirror image, with the subject facing to the right.
