Re: What boardgame(s) are you playing?
Got the Machi Koro Deluxe Edition. It has both expansions and better components. I love this game. Fun and easy to teach. It's been a regular play at our family events. Tokaido is another game I can't stop playing. The goal of the game is to have the best vacation. You collect victory points by visi...

Re: What are you reading?
With the new movie coming out, I have been on a Star Wars kick. I've read Aftermath, Tarkin, and A New Dawn. I just stared reading Battlefield:Twilight Company.

Re: What gaming stuff are you reading?
I've got a large stack of neglected game books to work through. Now that I have the Codex that's on the top of my stack but what I've been reading lately: Fantasy Age-fun little system. A little wonky but easily hackable. Should have had more spells in the main book. Age of Rebellion-same system as ...

Re: Where'd they all go?
That's good to know. It always amazes me how horribly confined spaces and an overly tight jacket can bring the warm fuzzies back. Not to mention the pungent aroma of Troll.

Re: Codex of Aihrde is Gorgeous! (pics)
Well I have an e-mail in to the Trolls so it should be sorted soon. Now on to impatiently waiting for the Player's Guide. I have a bunch of miscreants, I mean adventurers ready to run rough shod across the face of Airhde.

Re: Where'd they all go?
Hello everyone. I used to post here quite a bit but had several life/work things come up and something had to give. I'm looking forward to getting back on the boards though.

Re: Codex of Aihrde is Gorgeous! (pics)
Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've been on these boards but I have kept up with the Trolls. I backed the Kickstarter and got my first package today. As I was flipping through everything, I got to the Jim Ward module, "The Tomb of Doom", and noticed it's missing page 7 & 8. ...

I'm gonna give it a couple more issues myself. I wanna give it a fair shake. Hopefully it goes somewhere amazing and I'll be pleasantly surprised. Heres to hoping anyway.

Re: What game would you play but can't
So many to choose from just by looking at the shelf but I think the three that stand out the most would be
Dangerous Journeys
Earthdawn
Undergound
Those games just speak to me and no one else in my group can hear them. *sigh*

Re: The New "52"
For the new 52, I didn't want to read all of them because I just don't like every character but I wanted enough of a cross-section to give them a fair shake. Anyway heres a couple more: Hawk and Dove-not bad. A lot of background jammed into one issue though. I've read several other reviews that hate...

Re: What are you reading?
Hehe I guess I could have offset it or italicized the title to make it easier to understand. But I would probably read a book called Joe Dies. Its kinda compelling.

The New "52"
For those of you who don't know, the DC universe is being rebooted with new number 1 issues for their classic titles. It is an attempt to modernize the DCU and bring characters up to date with new backgrounds and representations while remaining true to their roles. I've read a few of the issues that...

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished A Dance with Dragons. Great stuff and a quick read. Starting John Dies at the End, a book my friend suggested. Let ya know when I'm finished if its any good. Reading on and off, The Engines of God. Interesting book and parts have been great but it reads really slow. I've put it down li...

Re: anybody using labrynth lord?
I dig LL. Its easy to play getting people started in it is a snap and it evokes the right feel. It may use an older game design philosophy but still works a-okay.

Re: What gaming stuff are you reading?

<t>Well I know of at least two game stores that got Free RPG Day stuff in and never bothered to put it out. I have it on good authority that eBay was the destination for those items.
